Duel Auto-Decline

I don't do duels... they hold zero appeal for me, beyond a once-in-a-blue-moon duel with a teammate or SG guildie while we kill a few minutes waiting for the rest of the group to get ready.

However, when I'm standing around in a public area "doing nothing" but actually buried up to my eyebeams in menus (leveling, adjusting gear, tweaking team missions, etc.) I will frequently have to turn down four or five duel requests... often from just two or three beligerant idiots.

I propose we be given a simple check box under one of the existing interface controls: "Automatically Decline Duel Requests: [Yes/No]?" It'll do exactly that.

    This already exists, sort of.

It is a rather well hidden option so there is no wonder that you have not seen it.

    Press 'o' (for social window)
    Go to the search tab
Click 'Privacy Options' at bottom left corner of the window
Check things you dislike being spammed with.

Yeah, as reddest said, use that feature to whitelist duels.

I have that selected all the time.

You can still duel if you are on a team though :)

Yes it can get quite annoying. I was recently suprised at how many duel requests my telepath got...I had already explained to one unleashed that I have no powers since my powers havent hit LIVE yet, and he still continued to spam me with a duel request.

I caved in and accepted by sitting down in the meditative postition and waited to be killed because clearly he wasnt listening to the fact that I had no powers, passive, travel powers or anything appart from stats and gear.

I think I need to set up this feature one more time :p
