Sneak Questions

Hi all,
I am stuck at work so I decided to theory craft a new character on the Powerhouse (great site!). I think I want to try the Night Warrior passive but I don't know anything about the Sneak mechanic.

This is from the AT description on the CO website, "Sneak - This toggle now remains on permanently. Taking certain actions cause you to decloak. Some of the new powers have special bonuses while sneaking."

I have a few questions for those that have experience with the power.

1. Does sneak count as a Toggle form or can it be used with toggle forms like Enrage and IDF?

2. What actions (aside from attacks) cause you to decloak? Do travel powers drop the cloak?

3. Is there a list of what powers (aside from Shadow Strike) get special bonuses while sneaking?

    Hi,

    As for your third question, I have asked about that one before myself. So far the only two powers that seem to get a special execute from sneak bonus are...

    1. Boomerang Throw - From stealth grants 30% more damage and splits into 2 boomerangs after first bounce.

    2. Boomerang Cone - When Stealthed, +20% Critical Severity & double damage.

    These are from the wiki and are the only two I have run across. I wish there were more bonuses from other power sets like dual swords or unarmed that gave a bonus from stealth.

    As for your second question, I don't remember travel powers decloaking you, only attacks. Of course I may be wrong, so please correct me if I am. If I recall issuing a Strafing Run didn't decloak me either.

    1: Sneak is not a form, it can be active at the same time as Enrage/IDF/Concentrate etc.

    2: Interacting with objects and taking damage are the other things that drop Stealth.

    3: You can check this in-game by clicking the All Powers button in the Powers window and selecting Advanced view in the power description. But I can't think of any further powers that get new abilities or change functionality under stealth.

    More Gas Pellets are thrown as a result of stealth too.

    Another fun trick with NW passive is if you taunt a group out of melee range with a melee EB, and then quickly move back they all run to you but dont attak, allowing you to throw your gas pellets and watch them burn ^_^
