New Steampunk parts Question

I dont know if this belongs in the support section, but...

I recently unlocked the Steampunk electro Gloves from the Finkle foundry mission

Those have a Glow option in the tailor.

My account only has male characters.

A Friend who only has Female characters told the same piece (The Steampunk electro gloves) she unlocked have no glow option

Is this a bug? Also, the new steampunk Backpack (from the Finkle Foundry) has a glow option aswell?

I'm fairly certain that's a bug, the male & female parts are supposed to be equivalent in terms of options. Never tested that myself, I'm not a big fan of steampunk personally. Ask @jasinblazing this question, I'm pretty sure he has pretty everything costume-wise in the game unlocked and is online most of the time.

Doesn't surprise me whatsoever that this bug exists.

Cryptic NEVER looks at costumes on females when they release new pieces. If they did, they'd catch bugs like these, notice horrid pattern bugs, and other things that CONSTANTLY pop up.

Yes. Female Steampunk Electro-Gauntles are missing Glow option.

We get it. You miss CoH. I miss my grandmother, too, but I don't compare everyone I meet to her.

    Lighten up, Francis.

Get a grip man. I never played CoH (and my name is not Francis), therefore you don't "get it". I just came across this.....do you disagree that it looks great?

I would like to point out that the set you linked to was a pay-for one, while the pieces we can get here are free.

Even if they weren't free, there'd still be a way to earn the Zen to buy the costume set in-game, where AFAIK, there wasn't any way to earn Paragon Points in CoX.

That's very true. Personally though, I would pay to get the set I saw in the ad..http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=FRO1dh4JaHo

No, I'm just incredibly tired of all the new "this isn't the way we did it in CoX!" (and related "this isn't the way it's done in <insert completely irrelevant MMO here>!") threads.

Even when the topic barely lends itself to being stretched that way - away y'all go. It's boring.

And while you are entitled (until otherwise notified) to twist everything around that way, I am also entitled (until otherwise notified) to complain about it.

As for the other reference you apparently didn't get, go watch Stripes. It's worth the effort - for the movie, not for my referencing of it.

Where do I find the Glow option in Tailor? I understand it might only work for certain costume parts.

When you click certain color boxes, the palette comes up with a "Glow" slider at the top. There's also a slight change in the border of the box to indicate it.

You know what's even more boring?
You, you and your silly posts in every thread. You and your hypocritical claims of asperger syndrome to justify your being self centered, obnoxious and delusionnal.
Sure, there is no written forum rule against it, but that doesn't entitle you to behave as such.

As I already said, I never played CoX. I have been a gold subscriber here for 2 years now and I have bought all the costume sets, travel powers,a handful of hideouts and numerous other things. Like some other people, I have spent a small fortune here.

I have tried other MMOs(but never payed for them before), but never for more than a week or two because I am a huge superhero fan and I love the costume creator here.

It is such a shame that the potential that this game has is not being exploited.

If you are so tired of it all, time to take a break from the forums perhaps.

The topic was a question about the new steampunk parts. The question was answered pretty quickly. I posted something about steampunk parts for superhero toons from another superhero MMO. Not that much of a stretch. And here is the video for that......http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=FRO1dh4JaHo

If it's so boring to you then why comment.

Nothing was twisted, except in your imagination. And yes, we are both entitled.

Thank you! I didn't notice that before.
