Discuss what you think about having a literal recolored item being sold in the store rather than letting us have the vehicle customizable color option.

No one should buy it. It is a waste of Dev time.

I'll have to re-check once I log back in, but it looks like they swapped out the laser for the +5 Heavy Cannon of Greater Boom. Interesting...

Heavy Cannon, Micromunitions, two support for the same cost as Plasma Cannon, Micromunitions, one defense, one support, and a spare weapon slot. And 100 zen better than a Heavy Cannon, Micromunitions, two defense, and one support.

I'm still not sure why the flat tank with three mod slots is worth less than the winged tank with only two, but maybe in this case we're paying a little extra for Epic Arctic Camo? I don't know.

This is exactly what makes me think the whole vehicle thing was just a money grab. They just put the ones that aren't worth that much in the C store for a price that they aren't worth, and put everything good behind a lockbox by either it being in a box, or in the drifter store.

What I mean by the term "Money Grab", is content that we buy, but it turns out to be a waste. In the vehicle's case, they're overpriced, we were promised customization, didn't get it, and the fact the game is starting to seem like "Vehicles Online" more than it is "Champions Online", only new content we've seen since the end of the Nighthawk event has been vehicles.

Trying to make money is what a successful business does. In this case they just charge alot for something that is not worth the price.

I know that, its just that in the case of vehicles, the final product wasn't at all what they had promised. For example, we were promised customization, we didn't get that. We were promised more than a become device you can mod. Basically, my point is that the vehicles were made along the lines of "here's something that is not what we said it would be, now go buy it!". Other than that, this is a game where customization is one of the main attractions, with vehicles, everybody is just like the next guy. With the exception of the grav bikes, they take off a bit from what the jets and tanks do.

What gets me isn't so much the price in and of itself, it's that this one costs 600 more than the Hawkwing Command Ship that has identical mod slots and 100 more than the Flint Fire that has more slots than it.

Right but... this is clearly a rip-off, and no amount of sarcasm is going to change that.

Ahh, so good to see the new infux of money being spent on useless ingame items. Developer time that should have been used to perhaps bugfix or develop fresh, new, playable content goes instead to a vehicle reskin to give an excuse to reweight lockbox drop frequency even more!

Occam's Razor makes the cutting clean.

Because someone actually took the time to RECOLOR AN EXISTING MODEL. Sheesh. Where's your logic?

If only I could earn $17 per sale for recoloring a model in 3DSmax... $_$

When I think of some of the model work I've seen done in skyrim mods... by people who aren't being paid... I just do this .-.

Developer time would require us to have Devs.....does ay one know how many we actually have ? it cant be more then a skeleton crew....you know our poor Community Rep and a few people to push buttons to do server maintenance and turn on "events".

All we get is "fluff" now a days. Our days of content are gone until NWN finishes. Even when that happens though, further zone additions and the like are...eh...

I can sum it up in twelve words.

Vehicles? *SNORE* Call me when it's something that's actually worthwhile.

Ah, yesss... Better to make a tank-shaped, overpriced pile of sh***t and sell it to maybe... Five players, than to make vehicles customisable, or practically usable, thus wanted by more players.
This his how CrAptic is in touch with their players.

CrAptic is one of the worst game developers ever and if there is someone who claims otherwise, this person is only a pathetic, brain-washed fanboi and can't be taken seriously.

Guys, if you can't do better, and lately we have every proof that you can't, just spare us an even more embarassment - either sell this game to the somebody competent, like you did with CoX, or shut it down.

It's not a POS. It's clearly an attempt to create more interest in the Canada zone.

I heard the Snowbirds will be using these in their next aerial.

This is one of those "You had this much time, and this is all you were able to do?" situations that usually ends with someone cleaning out a desk and trying to figure out how they're going to explain it to their wife.

As long as CO is still going the devs have a job - there isnt enough staff to fire anyone without not being able to run it!
