Thanks to those devs who've worked so hard for most of the last 4-5 years to make this game what it is, and to those friends I've made in game. Have a great Christmas and enjoy the game.
Merry Christmas too all you fine Champions and thanks to all who have contributed to the world of Champions Online devs and players alike. It does take us all to further the adventures even when we may not agree on the roads we travel down.

I would be following suit along side you, but I actually enjoyed the Nighthawk event. I said before that I wouldn't leave if they added something I enjoyed thematically this year. Even though it was just one 3 day event.
Though I was expecting a vendor revamp to include auras, the Lair review, the mission arc added in the "Wells Pass" level area, and the new group lair in Westside to be up and in game before Halloweeen. All that was discussed before vehicles were even heard of in the game and Alert didn't exist. Does anyone even remember the talk about a Leviathan event?
But I must digress.
I'll hold out a little longer and if this next year turns up just like this one, I'm going to leave too without a single word. The only chance of my return is with a new zone or an adventure pack/comic being released.
All I can say to you directly is, "Thanks for sharing your ideas and vision of how the game could have been if it still had the innovation of when it first came out."
You have been as loyal to this game as anybody could possibly be m'man. OR hey time away from it sometimes does a world of good either way for ya. Whatever you decided I'll respect it. Plus I do feel safe knowing you're just sitting one continent and a big bridge or two away from me so that's comforting to know at least lol. Take care of yourself Thundy. Don't forge to to visit sometimes.
Some friends talked me out of leaving, at least for now.
However, the Christmas well wishes still applies.
I want to preface this with saying I'm not trying to encourage you to leave but...
I've been in that spot. I was in it for a couple years because there was a game I was sick and tired of, I wasn't having fun on it anymore, and I stuck around because a few friends got very depressed when they found out I was leaving.
I kept not having fun.
I don't know why you made the choices you did but, I think it's safe to say that if you're sticking around primarily because other people want you to, and not because you continue to enjoy this game, that you may end up not having fun too.
If that is the case, might I suggest getting your friends on Steam or something similar so you can continue to chat with them while taking part in other activities? After all, there's nothing that says you have to delete your toons and uninstal CO simply because you're doing something else and if you're talking with them even when you're not playing, you'll always be able to pop in for events or to just hang out with your friends when the mood strikes.
Just a few thoughts from someone that's been there and done that.
I'm glad you're staying. But maybe you should take a month off or something.
I say that everyone who plans on leaving should stay at most two months after NWO comes out. Just to see if they plan on distributing their resources fairly between their three games. After that its official that this game will continue to disappoint rather than innovate.

Wait, what??
I'm looking around and I'm not seeing anything other than a Merry Christmas message myself!
(If there's some context I'm missing, it must be rather subtle. I'll admit I sometimes don't do "subtle" very well... >.> )
