Heyo. Looking for some ideas to roll up a Might and Tepe/Teke toon. Think Captain Marvel or Martian Manhunter. Any thoughts? I'm thinking End Prime stat with str/ego as secondaries. Advice would be appreciated since I've never used TK/TP (and Ive been playing since beta. Yeah, sad).

Depends on what your prevalent damage type will be...

    If Might: STR Con/Int

If Mentalist: Ego str and int I'd imagine.

Thanks. And from what I'm seeing TK is still the crap power apparently.

Meh, TK is largely dependant on DEX/EGO for high damage, it can be done especially for TK bladers since the EGO change made Ego as a stat a bit meh for TK melee but good for ranged TK.

Alot of powersets need reworks as they are being left behind with the new changes. Take Telepathy for example, NOTHING is going to be reworked from the old telepathy we have on LIVE, but there is new additions for Telepathy comming soon and it will leave the old telepathy in the dust.

Seeing as most of telepathy is useless in PvP due to powers simply not working on players (bar the following powers:)

    - Ego Sleep
    - Ego Storm (even though this has been crippled, it is still more or less viable.)
    - Mindful Reinforcement
    - Empathic Healing

You could argue Ego Blast and Sprites are still good powers though.

As regards a Might/Telepathy toon...I'd say going for INT would be a better fit as a primary stat with perhaps str and dex being secondaries, if for some reason you decide to capitalize on telepathy O.o

But in the main I assume your main focus will be might damage so...STR, Con/Int and you cant really go wrong with that. the STR spec for CON will allow you to have very nice defense in addition to access to some critting power. If you decide to take Concentration for your ranged damage INT scales with it so that can help, but I think it would be best to focus on Enrage.

Keeping/confining telepathic abilities to heals, and perhaps some holds and one attack combined with conviction and might attacks could go far.

IMO, the Mentalist Powersets could be alot better, telepathy is getting additions but what is comming is very good but still Ranged TK has much left to be desired...

Solo'd Andrithal with a TK Invuln dodge(ish) build which btw had a couple of flaws.
TK can give fearful single target spikes and has at least reasonable if not good AOE capability. I wonder if it woulda been a bit easier doing Andrithal with TK Maelstrom instead of TK Eruption.
Building up the leech stacks for a good EBA or TK Lance is a bit too much of a fiddle in PVP (I think) which is probably why it isn't the in thing in PVP. You can get almost double damage from 5 leech + EBA or TKL.
Compared to the hassle of bleed stacking for Single Blade it is utter bliss to run a TK blade or ranged build and Ego Blade Annihilation is like half the activation time of Reapers Embrace.

    Anyways back to topic
I would consider keeping might for your close attacks shrugs maybe Roomsweeper and Haymaker, with TK Assault and TK Lance possibly TK burst for the long range stuff. Lot of attacks but that's concept for you. Strength Dex Ego maybe or whichever stat tree you prefer. Concentration, Enrage or FOTT depending on stat pick.

    Ranged TK is really good.

I think you meant the actual power "Telekinesis", the "throw things with your mind" power.

Is that correct? If so, yeah, that's pretty horrible.

Look at what Telepathy/Telekinesis powers you want to put into your build, then build from there. It's likely going to be a mostly-Might core with some mentalist stuff for flavor.

Here's my take on the build. I went with a Controller type build with decent survivability and damage. TK has all them ego sword powers so I went with One Hundred Hands as main attack, and Demolish as a debuffer. Manipulator + Thunderclap + Collective Will are the main combo of the build. Tested the build on PTS and it works really well.

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Name:

    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats: Lv40 Test toon had 131DEX 504INT 73CON
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents:
    Level 1: The Glacier
    Level 6: Agile
    Level 9: Brilliant
    Level 12: Enduring
    Level 15: Coordinated
    Level 18: Acrobat
    Level 21: Healthy Mind

    Powers:
Level 1: Vicious Strikes Theme Energy Builder
Level 1: One Hundred Hands (Rank 2, Rank 3) Theme AoE main attack
Level 6: Intensity (Rank 2) Filler, AO, picked to get out of Unarmed set
    Level 8: Invulnerability (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Molecular Self-Assembly Great secondary energy unlock, procs from cooldowns ending, scales with INT
Level 14: Manipulator Gives +hold magnitude and +damage, scales with INT
Level 17: Ego Surge (Rank 2, Nimble Mind) AO
Level 20: Collective Will (Rank 2, Rank 3) Theme Telepathy power, used after Thunderclap for multiple summons
    Level 23: Thunderclap (Rank 2, Rank 3) AoE 6 second stun(with 504INT), procs Manipulato/MSA
Level 26: Demolish (Rank 2, Below the Belt) Theme attack, crushing resistance debuffer
Level 29: Bountiful Chi Resurgence (Resurgent Reiki) Great heal with dodge, procs MSA
    Level 32: Masterful Dodge AD
Level 35: Evasive Maneuvers (Rank 2, Sleight of Mind) +dodge chance, stealth and agro wipe
Level 38: Conviction (Rank 2) Great heal, crits, procs MSA

    Travel Powers:
    Level 6: Teleportation
    Level 35: Athletics (Rank 2, Rank 3)

Specializations: Spec'd for Damage and Defense
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (3/3)
    Dexterity: Brush It Off (2/2)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Elusive (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

The way the build works is to get close to mob group and stun with Thunderclap, this will proc Manipulator and MSA giving you energy. Then use Collective Will while mobs are stunned for multiple summons. Finish them off with One Hundred Hands. After 2-3 One Hundred Hands reaply Thunderclap for more energy. On Bosses/Cosmics apply fully charged Demolish for debuff and continue with One Hundred Hands. I don't know if any of this is close to your theme but for some reason TK sword attacks did't seem to fit to me.
