If as it seems Hurricane is a big part of your DPS then consider changing passive to Stormbringer which boosts cold and crushing damage as well as electrical. Either that or switch Hurricane for Lightning Storm.
Do you get a lot out of Thunderstrike? If not consider dropping it.
Ball lightning is best used with Triplicity for the Ionic Reverb I doubt if R2 is worth 2 whole APs.
End maybe very good for you I don't use it much have you had a good look at what Ego could do for you as primary SS?

Funnily enough I hardly EVER use Hurricane unless I am surrounded which is rare. I use it to get rid of annoyingly close enemies and it works very well.

ThunderStrike is an odd power, sometimes for reasons unknown to me it crits for 5-7k other times only 1-3k.

I also notice that the more stacks of Concentration I get the less damage output seems to be..could be a perception thing.

I did try Ego on PTS and it was good but the lack of HP from around 6.8k down to 5.7k made me heal alot more but my damage was alot higher as I was geared for Ego and managed to get it to 337 EGO my energy management was goodish..

I went for Lightning Storm (I love my LS) and Sigils of Primal and have awefully awful HP, I resigned myself to being a 100% glass cannon and doing ultra DPS but a bit on the fragile side at times. If I get aggro from really nasty people I hide heroically behind my block. Ego has the magic improve your crit severity thingy which means even more melting power but yeah I die quite a bit. Squishy not tank no no no no.
So I won't be soloing Andrith with my build..
BCR/RR reduces damage you do (but you knew that) are you sure it's worth it with a damage dealer build? I just went for Conviction R3 and Palliate R2 (keep that useless Doc Destroyer on his feet).

Seems like you have your ideas together tbh - not the same as mine, hopefully some other builder will comment.

Funny thing is I retconned my Electric from Dex/End/Ego (Recovery as 4th) to Ego/End/Dex and of course my crit prob went severely down. This is what you get when you tinker.

    Level 9: Ascetic
    Level 12: Boundless Reserves
    Level 15: Accurate
    Level 18: Quick Recovery
    Level 21: Survival Training

    Powers:
    Level 1: Electric Bolt

Level 6: Electric Form (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 8: Ionic Reverberation
Level 11: Force Shield (Force Sheathe)

    Level 26: Ball Lightning (Triplicity)
Level 29: Lightning Storm (Rank 2, Stolen Thunder)
Level 32: Electric Sheath (Matter ? Energy Union)
    Level 35: Redemption
Level 38: Evasive Maneuvers (Rank 2, Rank 3)

    Travel Powers:
Level 6: Electric Arc (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Athletics (Rank 2, Rank 3, Versatility)

    Specializations:
    Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (3/3)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (1/2)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (2/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
Vindicator: The Rush of Battle (3/3)
    Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

    Dex 313; End: 189; Rec: 185
    Crit Chance: 46.6; Severity 113%
    Defense: 193 (46% resistance)
Dodge: 39.5%, goes to 63.5 with EM
    Avoidance: 60%

Why did I make my choices?

Survivability: I melt mobs on Elite so fast they often don't get to attack. If I do take fire, survivability is exceptional. This character has tanked alerts (a lot), including Hi Pan.

Ease of Use: FotT over Concentration, gives up less damage than you might think; for one thing, there's no way I would stack Ego as high as I do Dex. With Concentration, I always seem to have less than max stacks, with FotT, I always seem to have max (maybe because I don't always bother to retreat to range and mobs melt before I get half a maintain). With FotT I don't have to worry about stacks, they take care of themselves.

Super Stats: when I see a spec choice that gives more than Deadly Aim does to a damage dealer (~28% severity on this character), I will consider using a different primary SS. Ofc, DEX also pumps critical chance and my choice of toggle. I find that my current Rec/End are plenty for this build. I usually don't even remember to toggle on the builder. Fwiw, I retconned out of Gigabolt. When I was using it, the energy was not the problem. The power just does not perform as well as it once did.

Healing: I rarely use BCR, except in Alerts if I have boss-aggro. If I have aggro, the reduction in damage is usually not enough to make me lose it, but the heal on dodge helps me stay up. In other play,Conviction is enough.

Concept: the character is a former police detective who was captured by DEMON, died during a ritual conducted in a thunderstorm, and rose as a magical-storm undead to carry on her work.

Weaknesses: not enough health for Gravitard or PvP, but I ccl.

Edit: Gear: SCR primaries with Gambler 5's in both Offense and Defense, CD reduction in Utility. Secondaries are L40 drop purples from the AH.

Here's my take on a Survivable Weather build. For theme I made the build's main attack be a combo of Hurricane + Sparkstorm + Fire Snake used at the same time for an awesome look of a Hellstorm hehe. I tested it on Elite Andrith and it had no problems soloing it.

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

Name: Hell Storm (Hurricane + Sparkstorm + Firer Snake)

    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats: LV40 test toon had 502INT 133DEX 110REC
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Recovery (Secondary)

    Talents:
    Level 1: The Soldier
    Level 6: Agile
    Level 9: Brilliant
    Level 12: Tireless
    Level 15: Coordinated
    Level 18: Impresario
    Level 21: Negotiator

    Powers:
    Level 1: Strafe
    Level 1: Concentration
Level 6: Evasive Maneuvers (Rank 2, Rank 3) +dodge chance
Level 8: Hurricane (Rank 2, Rank 3) Theme main attack
Level 11: Conviction Great self heal, procs MSA
Level 14: Molecular Self-Assembly Great energy unlock, scales with INT, procs from cooldowns ending
Level 17: Sparkstorm (Rank 2, Electric Personality) Theme attack, with adv. it turns into a toggle so it can be used at the same time as Hurricane
Level 20: Bountiful Chi Resurgence (Resurgent Reiki) Great self heal with dodge, can stack up to 3 times with enough INT, procs MSA
Level 23: Masterful Dodge AD with +dodge chance +avoidance
Level 26: Fire Snake (Rank 2, Rank 3) Theme attack, lowers cold damage resisance, procs MSA
Level 29: Ice Sheath (Rank 2, Rank 3)Ao with +crit severity, procs MSA
Level 32: Lock N Load (Rank 2, Rank 3) AO with +critchance/cost reduction, procs MSA
Level 35: Circle of Primal Dominion (Rank 2, Rank 3) For Boss/Cosmic fights
Level 38: Invulnerability (Rank 2, Rank 3) Picked last to be easily changed to Quarry for more damage if you think its needs more

    Travel Powers:
    Level 6: Lightning Flash
    Level 35: Acrobatics (Rank 2, Rank 3)

Specializations: Spec'ed for damage and defense
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (3/3)
    Dexterity: Brush It Off (2/2)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Elusive (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

The build relies heavily on tons of INT for cooldown/cost reduction, MSA/Concentration scaling. You will never need your energy builder, with high INT you will always have an Active Offense up to make up the loss of damage for picking a defensive passive, so you can have your cake and such. The build plays more like a close combat storm caster, you get close and start your hell storm burning, electrocuting and blowing away all mobs. At a boss/cosmic you set your Circle of Primal Dominion right next to them for extra heals and +damage/KB resistance. Here's a pic of some stuff at rest:

I made my first video of a build but I suck at video stuff hehe... will post video of Elite Andrith solo run when it finishes uploading to youtube... tomorrow haha, I made the video 1080p by mistake :frown: or maybe I'll just make another one.

One note to the DEX vs. EGO : At least for leveling i would always prefer DEX since you simply
only can get also a good amount of crit with EGO if you have good gear with +crit and mods.

I use EGO Con/End on my lightning toon, and to be honest, it is one of the toons I don't miss not having any Rec on.

With EGO high enough, your first tic of LS will trigger Concentration for a huge amount of energy and afterwards, Ionic Reverb will carry you the rest of the fight.

Something else you can do, with Con and End as superstats, you can use Dark Transfusion if you need more of a boost for an alpha attack.

Hmm. I mainly use her for RP, lvl 40 content or helping out in Alerts..so I might have to drop Concentration for FoTT? since it scales with DEX if I went with it...

    Intresting.

I haven't tried this build but the other one you posted for soloing Andrith (based on revitalize and manipulator) I did. It's really fun to play!

I've been wanting to tinker with my hurricane-sparkstorm build and this might be a winner. Great stuff.

If she is already lvl 40 then there is no reason to change it. Like i said its more a tip for leveling
a new character, since critchance without DEX is bad if you don't have these nice lvl 40 purples

And yes .. of course FotT instead of concentration then

I am worried about CD on the sigils and I might actually swap it out for Invocation of a Storm Calling...

So it's a little toss up between..

Level 38: Sigils of the Primal Storm (Rank 2) + Ego Surge (Nimble Mind)

    -OR-

Level 38: Invocation of Storm Calling (Rank 3) + Ego Surge

    -OR-

Level 38: Sigils of the Primal Storm (Rank 3) + Ego Surge

    any thoughts?

Back when sigils could crit, Sigils of the Primal Storm + Invocation of Storm Calling was awesome DPS but now that they can't crit that combo is really weak. Picking one over the other I would say that Invocation of Storm Calling's debuff lasts almost nothing so in my opinion it's a waste to use along with maintain attacks, and it forces you to stay close to mobs to refresh the debuff. From those options I would pick Sigils of the Primal Storm (Rank 2) + Ego Surge (Nimble Mind) if you have enough CON to make Nimble Mind worth it. But don't use them too often, just set them when ever possible to not endanger yourself too much. I don't remember how to open Andrith exactly but doing all the mission in Monster Island will eventually unlock it.
