Account Linking Promo Ending Dec. 11

Our account linking promotion ends next week on December 11th; at the same time, account linking will become non-optional. Link your Cryptic and Perfect World accounts today to receive a special in-game promotional item for one of your CO characters.

    Gotta ask. Does this mean a repair to the problem where you go to relog and the launcher reverts back to the old Cryptic Logins? That would be very nice. :biggrin:

    You may want to prompt people in-game about this because Vixy imagines that only a % of the players come to the site and read the forums/news/etc.

    Otherwise you could see a massive drop in player population simply due to difficulties with logging in.

    This is the problem. Yahoo disables accounts if you haven't gone to check it in a while.
    I'm not sure if Hotmail is doing this to. Other services might.

    You need to log into your email first make sure the account is active and getting mail.

    CRYPTIC YOU NEED TO STOP THIS
    The near panic attack I had merging my account and not finding that email was not cool at all.
    Luckily I logged into my Cryptic account, it sent the numbers to an idle email at yahoo, so they never reached me.
    I scrambled to fix things.
    I did the Cryptic to PWE transfer and logged in and it sent my numbers to the now active email account.

    This is not everyone's option. This can go horribly wrong.

    So if you already have a PWE account you still need to make a Cyrptic account just to link?

    As I have already done this through the Champions site, when do I get my items, as I haven't gotten anything yet.

    Go into the Z-store in-game, and tab either once left or all the way right; can't remember the name of the tab, but your package of gifts should be under that tab, waiting to be claimed.

    I'd sure love to link my account so that I can continue playing on the eleventh, but...

    Okay, well, that was a painful process.

    However, now I am encountering the bug in which the in-game login screen refuses to remember my PWE account name. Instead it remembers to toggle PWE Account, but auto-fills my old Cryptic account name. This is NOT helpful!
