Freon, or any NPC that uses that dang blinding snowstorm. Smoke grenades I can deal with, because they don't deal damage and slow me at the same time. Plus, Freon has that weird "deep freeze" debuff which seems to either deal heavy damage over time, or drops your resistance to cold damage into the negative %'s.

But seriously, I hate Rakshasa due to his constant hijacking of my targeting system (plus he makes it worm hell in Soul Siphon if you don't have a good AoE), and I hate Ao'Qephoth because of his insane heals, but I love his appearance and backstory as an eldritch abomination.

Oh, and Deadman Walkin'. Stop dodging everything and take off your top! I need it more than you do, you selfish jerk!

People who quit Alerts if their own personal criteria aren't met, particularly when said criteria are based entirely on prejudice (won't run Alerts with anyone below a particular level, won't run Alerts with ATs, whatever). Often, the reason we didn't win was because we were suddenly running three people in a five-man Alert.

Choose your enemies carefully, because they will define you / Make them interesting, because in some ways they will mind you
They're not there in the beginning, but when your story ends / Gonna last with you longer than your friends
He's better at metaphors than Defender but, if you listen, Defender sounds kinda like he Tick in his speech patterns. Pretending that's who's actually talking to me helps some with that particular voice acting.
People who are selfish about their gaming, like joining Smash alerts at a low level, because everyone else should be inconvenienced for their unwillingness to spend an hour getting up to a reasonable level.

Well, his background implies that Redsnake is of latin american or hispanic descent, and that Green Dragon is an Asian anti-Western bigot, so neither of their voices really make sense...

After literally 1000s of alerts I've gotten amazingly good at determining when a PuG has no chance of winning.
So suck it up already, you were gonna lose anyway.
The chat bubbles of bigger-sized villains going off-screen during cutscenes. Not so much a "most loathed" thing but it's a major pet peeve of mine.
It's not so much of an annoyance if voice-overs are present, but I think I came across a few cutscenes where there was no voice-over and I couldn't see what was being said.

Defender's high on my list, but... *silly, nasal sounding, mocking voice* "As I was sayin', MY martial arts are superior" (no mention of the team of 5 heroes that just saved his ****) ...takes the price.

Reading this i feel really lucky that i've never heard his voice......as for people i loathe people who quit alerts just cause they feel the team won't work for some reason and insult them for not doing as well as they want.
When I see complaints about the voice acting, it makes me think I'm surrounded by children who weren't old enough to experience the Jill Sandwich. Or they are and they forgot.

Dr. Moreau for discriminating against Hyena Swine. He gave everyone else a voice...
That was the one thing that ruined what I feel is a pretty well done cutscene with really decent voice-overs. I guess they couldn't find someone who could grunt like a boar while talking without bursting into laughter every take.

As a level 9 spamming cleave, I've been told that exact same thing "you were gonna lose anyway." It was Black Fang (Dockside) and after 2 of them left, he was down below a 6th health. With the 2 40's that left, we WOULD have made it.
Likewise, I have been the 40 with a friend of mine (36) and three 6-10's. Riv and I were confident of our abilities and stuck with it. Guess what? We beat it.
If you don't stick around because you don't like the group that you're saddled with, than YOU cost everyone the win. Mind you, there have been times we did lose. Everyone did their best, but it just wasn't good enough due to whatever reason.

Black Fang is by far the easiest alert. When i look for the group is more if i see a Boss with
Lightning Resistance or Defiance
And really bad are these Nemeses with PFF .. since you can't see that before the fight begins
and then i really often wanted to simply leave, since i never have beaten one of those

I think they should add a lockout on alerts for people that use the 'exit map' to chicken out too often. That being said, I think they should also up the minimum level where Alerts can be accessed, or have tiered alerts so all the 1-10s have something they can handle.
Just spitballing ideas here.. what about having the game slow the countdown or scale down the durability of the boss if people start leaving? That way the people that hang in there can still pull it off.
Also, the following NPCs are loathed: Freon, Rakshasa, Viper-X's robot pals, all gadgeteer nemeses, all generic nemeses.. and any player who thinks dragging in the side henchmen in 'recruiting drive' alerts is fun.
He looks like the guy who showed up at the powow in tighty whiteys with a 24 pack who won't share with anybody and insists on "dancing" in every circle.
Who do i loathe. Hmm...let me see...
People who copy the latest min/max build and then have the nerve to claim their superiority
over others, when in fact in most cases they are pretty ordinary players without their suped up builds.
And people who bail on alerts. What's that all about? Selfish heroes? Just ain't right.
NPC's: Manimals. They're all stupid-looking. That's really the only thing. And then their heads are the default furry heads... which means that the furry characters people play will all inevitably look just as stupid by no fault of their own (even though I dislike furry characters).
ARGENT: These guys look lame.
Player TYPES:
Pet Lords that fly into an area you're farming and wipe it clean in a few minutes.
The D-bag who started insulting me in Vibora Bay because my weak 2500 damage with 2-gun Mojo was nothing compared to his spike damage on something. Then he blocked me before I could respond. It's okay, though- I had about two dozen people on my friends list ignore him right back. Perhaps silence is golden, since this feature is 'working as intended'.
As said before, the people who drop out of alerts because things aren't going as they specifically want.
People who troll RPers. I'll give the funny ones their due- there's a handful. But just going around and blatantly harassing roleplayers is just plain obnoxious.
In Roleplay:
Characters who, in no reasonable way, have powers matching what that character can actually do. Essentially, those characters who should be splattering Gravitar and Dr. Destroyer based on what their bio says.
Nonsensical Anime toons with even more nonsensical Wapanese names and idiotic Anime backgrounds.
Furries. Not animal-themed characters, not 'people who like talking animals', not werewolves or manimals or animal spirits- just nonsense walking and talking animals. Makes no sense to me, and I've never been fond of the following. No, I don't need to hear the lecture about how you're not all perverts because it's a load of crap- EVERYONE is a pervert, dude. Spare me. I understand the furfans have a bad rep, and it's not that- the toons themselves just don't make sense to me. The players mean absolutely nothing to me, good or bad. I'm talking fictional characters.
Obvious boys playing 'lesbians' in wretched ways. Seriously, young men. We're not fooled. It speaks to your character when you, in no way, know anything about how women really are and try to play one (I advise meeting some). 'Lesbian Slut' is so played out in CO, it's sickening.
Characters who have absolutely no regard whatsoever for the setting and surrounding- in other words: Publicly boasting about crimes, starting fights in Caprice, behaving egotistically and unprofessionally and holding a position in PRIMUS or UNTIL, etc.
People who believe 'magic wins'. Even Dr. Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme can't function with a bullet through his skull.
All that being said, don't let me persuade you from playing the toon you want to be. I encourage you making any character you want and having fun. However, just remember that because I don't like it doesn't make it 'bad'. These are my tastes, for the most part. Do what you enjoy... but don't expect others to gobble it up like cheesecake.

Some of it's pretty decent. Dr. Destroyer's and Shadow Destroyer's voices in Resistance are great. "JAMES HARMON! FACE ME!"
And I admit a fondness for Ironclad in all his hammy glory.
I keep wanting Shadow Destroyer in NemCon to yell, "Kneel before Zod!"

Yeah, I was trying to repress Resident Evil 1's voice acting. Thanks for reminding me of it
Still, ONE game from 16 years ago that had crappy voice acting doesn't change the fact that the voice acting in this game is pretty horrendous.
PS: If people are throwing non-character stuff into the pile of loathing add me up for Chat Bans and Lockboxes as well.
