Out of curiosity, how does one swing the camera around to see your character from the front? I tried dragging the damn thing around, pressing every damn button on it and couldn't figure it out.

Then you key bind is probably set to something else. Under Options -> Key Bind -> Enable Mouse Rotate . Click on it and set it to Left Drag from the special keys drop down.
Hm... it seems I did have that set up that way. I wonder why I couldn't get it working yesterday. Then again, I did run into another weird glitch today involving advantage points. Oh well, at least I know how to look at my character's front.
Keep in mind the Heroic pose bends the arms at the elbow a smidge, so when from straight on they sometimes look a little short. Learned that the hard way when Pi relaxed and his fingers reached his knees.
Note that hand size plays a pretty big factor into that. The arms can be normal-sized while the hands are big, or the arms can be long and the hands small.
I find that hands in CO for men are generally oversized. A fully open hand should be about enough to cover the face and little more. CO, though, the fists are roughly around the same size as the character's head.

Ok, boys and girls, it's Finn's class of human anatomy, Proportions 101.
And from what I see, his hands are precisely where your image says they should be. And as someone pointed out, the heroic pose does bend the arms a bit, as if the fella's ready for a fistfight.
Heroic pose really makes character arms seemingly shorter, it must be taken into account.
And indeed, character hands in CO are far too long. Human hand is either slightly shorter than face, or slightly longer. CO default hands are as long as character's head, it screws proportions a bit.
That's why so many people are asking Cryptic for finally making static pose available for our costumes - it's the best pose for accurately showing body proportions (well, it is available... but only for males >_>).
Nice! I did my own version of that a couple of weeks ago before the closure.
I specifically was CAREFUL not to use any parts that are blocked by being a Silver AT. That way if he wanted to - he could jump in with a Behemoth AT on a silver account (after running a test character through the tutorial) and have no trouble at all. I loved that it worked so perfectly - even the emblem is the same!
The good news - I sent the costume file to him before the COH forums closed down and got a response back from the "Big A" that he had tried his hand at making Ascendant in CO but that he liked the design and might use it! yay!
But yes, I'm an 8-8 1/2 heads guy, and the default arms are too long, the hands are too big in all proportions, and the lower legs are a hair too short. Also the whole frame is a touch too squat. I can adjust them just fine but that's what led to me referring to CO characters as "monkey people" in the past.
You can not succeed against Lord Recluse, you can only hope to be beneath his notice!
Its a start anyway. Most backpack options that make him look more multi-limb preclude his awesome cape, and tend to make him look to much like a 40k techmarine so I think the shoulder insect limbs are a good compromise until something better comes along. If I revised it further I'd probably make the cape darker but other attempts to get the colors more "right" look pretty horrific do to the general flatness of CO's textures.

I know Cryptic was the initial designer of both games, but I'm still impressed by how closely y'all were able to mimic the looks, especially the helmet of a certain British hero.

Dominus Drake Primus Database ,Also @Pyromasher ingame
She'll work well with Eagle Alpha Six.
(Pic coming when I get home from work, but the name should be a big clue.)
Alternate Blind Bowman outfit.

(NCSoft thought they could deny me my i24 AR/Dev playboy sniper. I'll just take him elsewhere.)
But seriously, both should be reworked into something less EULA unfriendly. Right now they're not really usable.
Hold down left mouse button and move your mouse.
I did that. It didn't work.

You have the setup for that? Might be a nice base to recreate my Widow/Fortuna
Here, in the .zip file.
Though I can't recall which costume parts are paid and which are free.

THIS GUY!!!
I really REALLY want for HIM to come to CO
Please please Mr Ascendant... come play with us?
Awesome.
Just a lil'itsybitsytiny note. Make 'Statesman' arms a bit longer. He comes a bit shorthanded.

Everyone knows bigger hands = stronger punches

Anyway, back on topic:
Anybody had any success with Recluse?
That's an all too familiar look!! And doesn't that character resemble Lord Recluse in the background?
UNCANNY!!!
But yes, the similarities are there.

OMG that Requiem is SPOT ON! Maybe if you could acquire one of the Edom auras for him? That'd make it perfect I think!
The Scirocco is good, too. But I think he needs to be much more slender. And blank-eyed.

EDIT: Oh, also feet? Same same as hands.
He does not need any introduction...

I'd say that's a pretty damn good attempt.
Hoorb! ^_^
