Here's my Bestial melee build that I have fun with. I'm sure it's not optimized, but she's survivable and fun. I run her in Melee role. Self-healing comes from BCR w/ RR, Devour Essence w/Phlebotomist, and some from The Rush of Battle spec.

Usual attack pattern is to use Venomous Breath for clearing henchmen and/or applying some Poison stacks with it's advantage. Up close and personal, use Shred to build up Bleeds (and apply debuff with it's adv). Once I have the foe Bleeding, I'll spam Massacre. Pounce is there for easy hopping to melee. Supernatural Power usually takes care of energy concerns along with FotT. FotT rocks with the high crit rate, especially with Venomous Breath. Masterful Dodge is there as an "oh $#%@" button, but find relying on BCR and Devour keeps my health up. With my current gear, the AO powers have almost a 1 minute cooldown. With the forced 30 second cooldown on all AOs when one is used, this means I can cycle them almost one right after the other.

I've got a similar build. I love it and it works great.
    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats:
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Constitution (Secondary)
    Level 15: Recovery (Secondary)

    Powers:
    Level 1: Bestial Fury
    Level 1: Frenzy (rank 3)
    Level 6: Regeneration (rank 3)
    Level 8: Pounce
    Level 11: Resurgence
    Level 14: Massacre (rank 3)

With these 6 powers you can have some serious fun. You have 8 more powers to choose. You'll need the below powers.

A form; I like form of the tempest. On my build like this my crit rate is about 51%. I have no issue getting stacks and getting them fast.

An energy boost; I like MSA with something I can use to fill it other then Pounce. For a cat-women build I would absolutely choose Rising Knee... NUT SHOT!!!!! too fitting. With the above powers supernatural power just doesn't work as well as I wish it did.

A damage boost; I use Lock and Load with the hand to hand advantage for the increased crit, lower cost, and break free. I also carry another one just for fun.

A shield; it really doesn't matter... depending on how strict you want to be the might shield has no visual adds.

The most recent build is good but you're going to get wasted a lot and your damage won't be that much better. You're loosing 20% damage from Resurgent Reiki and Elusive Monk.

Plus if you take invul vs regen, defiance, or an offensive passive you can take int instead of con as your other sss... this will increase your dps.

    happy hunting!

I think the build looks pretty good. I would personally prefer Form of the Tempest to Swordsman, but then my toon is crit happy.

And I'll refute the comment that this build will get wasted a lot. If you ask me, it looks very much like it follows the ideas put forth in the "Demon Keypo" guide.
