Ever since the vehicle update went live I have been unable to zoom in close to one of my characters.

I have submitted multiple support tickets and requests for GM help. None have gotten a response.

Has anyone else had this problem?

If so, how did you fix it?

If not, do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks for any help on this matter.

Only one of your characters has the problem?

And you can't zoom in close, or go into first person perspective?

You can try /campos 0 or /campos 1 and see if that gets you zoomed in.

Can't zoom in close. Max Camera Distance is set to 30, I can zoom in to maybe half that.

Tried those commands and got nothing.

I had this problem on a toon. I couldn't zoom in or go into first person view. It was nly the one character and infortunately, the only way I found to fix it is deleting and remaking. Luckily, it was only a level 10. Hope yours is a low level too.

When I had this problem, literally nothing worked. It seemed like the default somehow got set to what is normally extreme camera range and I was able to scroll out even further than that. I tried resetting the defaults and slash commands that are supposed to override the camera defaults and nothing did any good.

If I have to delete, loose anything non-transferable and restart it will be the end of this game for me.

No game this incompetently designed deserves my money.

    Edit:

Just got a reply to one of my tickets.

This is apparently an unknown bug that cannot be fixed at this time.

    So...

If this is not fixed by the 1st of December when my billing cycle rolls over Cryptic will be loosing a subscriber.

I had the issue with one of my alternate builds. Drove me crazy but I finally realized that when I openned my character sheet up I was in some "vehicle" role instead of my normal support role. Switched that and the zoom changed back to normal. Hope that helps!

Well what do you know, that fixed it.

    Thanks a lot!

That... what? I have no idea what's going on with that, but I'll forward it to the devs.

Save UI-Settings with a character where everything works fine, then load them with the character where you have a problem.
