    Interesting. But wouldn't DU's higher base damage make it a better choice?

    I have only returned to the game recently. I last played before PWI took over from Atari. Your post has me curious.

    What changed?

    You see, when I last played melee characters ruled the battlefield in PVP and PVE due to the power of "Knock" based attacks and few counters. Now I am reading about melee players feeling picked on, under gunned, and perhaps not wanted in many threads?

    There's an inherent problem with this - most pvp builds will have naturally high knock rez from STR. Though when I logged in the other day, pvp was completely dead.

    I like the concept though.

    Who the heck gets picked on as melee? :P If you can't be successful with whatever powers you want to, you're not doing something right.
