Been away from the game for a few years and a lot of changes have been made. Looking for some advice when I recon my Might character. I here a build I made and let me know
It may sound boring to "spam" the same 3 attacks but you have to keep in mind, the more attacks you have the thinner you spread your advantage points. Having a few rank 3 attacks is much more effective than having a fist full of rank 1 or 2 attacks.
I think that Havok Stomp is a little redundant since you already have Roomsweeper and Shockwave. I would replace it with Defensive Combo and move Crippling Challenge to it from Mighty Leap. Defensive Combo also starts and refreshes your Defiance stacks, which will be important to your survivability.
Put Challenging Strikes on Shockwave, your biggest Area of Effect, to draw in aggro from the henchmen.
Knockback can be a problem in Smash alerts. I would replace Haymaker with Uppercut which is a knockup rather than a knockback, and better for keeping the fight contained.
You have no energy unlock, not that there's one that works well with Might anyway. You'll get some energy from Defiance and (I think) Enrage. If you need more, maybe replace Retaliation with Force Shield+Force Sheath. That way if you block frequently enough to keep the Force Sheath up, it will convert incoming damage into energy.
For Protector Tree, I would max out Defensive Expertise, put 2 points in Resolute, and take Protector Mastery at level 40. This will help you stay on your feet during a tough fight.
I'd drop Defiance for Invulnerability, and Unbreakable for Conviction. You'll have WAY better survivability in most situations.
I'd pick up MSA as an energy unlock. Works great with Conviction and Mighty Leap. It'll make up for the energy return you'd be giving up from Defiance.

So like the OP, I'm coming back from a long time away, over a year and a half. I think I've developed a decent build, but I have very little clue what I'm doing. Could one of the forum guru's check this over and give me an idea if it will be effective?

This was awesome while it lasted

We're all different I guess... for me 3 attack powers is the max I will get per toon and when I get bored I just switch toons.

Anyway, can someone comment on the build and synergy?
