Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. :P This game needs as many new missions as it has old ones at this point. It's been 3 years and the same missions still dominate that aspect of the game.

New areas to explore would be nice too. Last major area to explore that was added (not mission access map) is Vibora Bay and that came out a little over a month after the game launched in 2009.

Before On-Alert a lot of people always cried for more group-content. Took maybe 2-3 years
until Cryptic gave us Alerts for that. Also the few new current missions are also group stuff
    like Nighthawk and Carrier Defense.

So .. if you mean soloable missions we can now maybe cry that we don't want any more
groupstuff for the next 3 years

Serious .. i expect only more Alerts and Vehicle group stuff for at least the next 6 months
until they have maybe a new idee for the next "exciting" gimmick :frown:

Btw.: what has also happened to the second Gravitar-like Alert that was in Test, with the two
Villains from the contest ? Have they already stopped with finishing that, so that we maybe
don't get new alters since Vehicles are now the only new stuff thay make ? Would fit at least
in the 6 months circle after that Cryptic stops further developing of old stuff in favour of
    the new gimmick.

I think the alerts need something more to them. More story-driven, maybe some kinda mystery solving or something. :)

I agree. I put forward a heap of non-combat alert ideas a while back. Lots of people loved the idea of saving Reggie from a tree. Natural disaster rescue would make a heap of sense and could give a wide variety of options.

We saw with the nighthawk alert a little bit of investigation thrown in with the crime scenes and it really sparked things up for me (i enjoyed those much more than the final fight or the various mobs, variety is the spice and all that).

I'd like to see a trail-of-clues mission or two which would function like a scavenger hunt, send us back and forwards accross the city and even into other maps where each villain we defeat gives us a clue sending us somewhere else. These could be from a series of randomised variables resulting in the same mission having several different locations enemies and plots so a single mission might have more replayability. It could give us some more NPC interaction and sometimes include ou Nemesis.

There could even be easier and harder versions, where the easier ones tell you where to go and the harder ones require looking into the lore a bit and requiring a bit of detective work of our own.

These lockboxes could mean they want to get the resources to make new missions. In that case everyone has to start buying keys.

They could also mean they're testing to see if they can squeeze more juice from the turnip before tossing it into the compost. But let's assume the first one because it's nicer.

A higher level revisit of West-side and MC in general would be nice.

Of course that having mobs of level 30 and more roaming the streets of WestSide is going to be messy, we need a better way to do it.

Yes, but I'd rather they focus on adventure packs, comic series, and zone stuff so you can actually experience a full story and explore.

LOL No more missions in the ghetto. :P I hope nothing disaster-related... I don't want anything to be used as American propaganda. :P

What about a chain of missions in Downtown regarding corruption, the real power behind the Mayor and some dirty secrets from Argent and Viper?! :B

That would be so cool (if done properly)

Yeah, or more obscure characters from the lore. I'm sure that with a rich background like CO has there are some real pushers and movers from the Shadows :3

    I'm with you on this!

I'd love to have some new adventure packs and comic book series, too.

American propaganda? Come on I'm an Australian for starters. Every nation on earth is at risk of natural and man-made disasters. From small ones like buildings on fire to larger ones like flooded rivers or earthquakes superheroes in fiction step in and save people and these could be set in all sorts of different game locations. So far alerts are in MC or vibora but we could have alerts from many other parts of the gameworld and the disasters could strike anywhere.
