Please Fix The Login Screen!

I would really like to not have to type out my Perfect World username every single time I switch characters! Whenever I tell it to remember my user name, it always only restores my Cryptic user name, which doesn't do ANY good anymore.

So PLEASE fix this. It's been going on for MONTHS and seems like it would take one person half an hour to eliminate, which leads me to feel as though the devs don't really care all that much about fixing anything.

    Thanks to this I have become supernaturally good at typing my username.

    I shouldn't be, I don't have good short or long term memory.
    How to block a user with μblock:

    Yes, and remove the Cryptic account option since they're now defunct.... and don't break anything else while fixing these things. :P

    Agreed, or maybe even fix it so changing characters *doesn't* send you back to the login screen. This game's made to have lots of alts, so why is it so bloody tedious to switch?

    The already addressed this in STO, is not possible, they said, because of how the game logs in the account :c

    So then why don't they put it back the way it was so we have the option of using our Cryptic accounts to login? :P Otherwise it's just f**ked up and may as well just rewrite the whole login program.

    Anyone else seeing the irony of PWE trying to "fix" our security bull***t by
    1) making it annoying for the players to log in both in-game and on the forums
    2) S***ting up our forums generally and making inter-player communication and searching more annoying (thanks CORE Connect!!)
    3) Essentially stealing our identities from us
    4) apparently straight jacking some people's money while not giving them their zen because of the account linking bull***t
    5) Making account/sub activation more problematic than it needs to be (or straight jacking some people's money for subs)
    6) Blocking out an entire region of players to prevent bull***t.. and the list goes on.

    The goal? Security.

    The result? More fake accounts and spammers since PWE took over in both our forums and in-game.

    Win.

    Yeah, this is something that's affecting (still) both CO and STO. Why haven't you guys fixed this yet? You'd think it would be rather simple.
