Take Scarn's Bane. Good damage, has a debuff. Energy hungry, but if you run in support mode, it should be fine.
Drop that golem. Pets are good, but only if you have lot's of them (tipical pet master) or as cheap add-on (temp pets like pyro blades or shadows).
Temp pets also have less problems with that 'dont seem to be attacking after they defeat their first person' coz they don't last long enough for the second target anyway.
I thought about offering a complete build but will refrain for two reasons. 1) I have not played enough lately, so my understanding is a bit rusty; and 2) I cannot bring myself to create a build using Rebuke, since it did not make the (very) short list of T0 powers I consider worth the power point.
I will say that you might be able to drop BCR by taking Selfless Ally and Sentinel Aura from the PRE and Sentinel Spec trees respectively. With high enough healing bonus from spec, PRE, Selfless ally will restore most if not all of the health lost from Iniquity and Sentinel Aura plus Conviction will easily handle any leftover.
I would add Palliate/Absolve to use on Captain Squishy when he gets too much attention, and an Active Offense (Ascension) for break-free if nothing else. As Pirogen says, drop the Golem (and dropping BCR would free a 2nd power point).
Finally, damage. You'd have to drop something else, but his suggestion for Skarn's is solid. I'd take it, dropping the Pyro Blades to afford it. Take it to R3. I'd also take Ebon Ruin R2 + Adv in place of Rebuke, but of course that would be a retcon since both Skarn's and Ruin are T3. If leveling, I might use Shadow at first and retcon at 20 when T3 unlocks. Sorcery and Celestial are early play stinkers as far as direct damage goes.

I'd suggest taking a peek at MoL's "Dream Star" build. I run a slightly tweaked version of it and I must say it's great. I'm sure you could pull a few ideas from it.
Here's a quick Support/DPS build made by changing Alice, my Gravitar DPS/Support toon's build around some. Not at all Light Guardian theme but she gets both jobs done great, and even tanking Gravitar is possible.
Hi guys...
Haven't updated my guides, even though I've mentioned I was going to.
Dream Star now has a different build that is more direct dmg, and has a most of what you're seeking. It seems that you want a AoRP toon focused on healing? Or are you more interested in 'aggressive' support?

I've been using the Dream Star build and I have to admit it's pretty amazing. I'd advise the OP to check it out. That build provides a lot of passive support to a team, with minimum effort.
I'm also curious about the more damage focused build though? Can you clue us in on what changes you made?

I have changed my build and am thinking of replacing Palliate with Divine Renewal BUT I havent brought it on LIVE just yet.
I am extremely curious to see what you have done to the build to make it more direct in the way it damages.
I am intrested in AoRP healing toon with some aggression After all she is a Light Guardian.
I found that Eldritch Blast has the effect I am looking for as well as the build I have looks nice, but I could definately take some pointers from the build you mentioned.
I did try out your original version, and I didnt have enough direct damage to take down my friend but he was too nerfed to deal significant damage to me xD.
Also if your Light Star Alliance is an actual SG, I'd love my Alara to join
Hello everyone, another CoX import here. I've been reading the forums as well trying to find something appropriate for my magical user as well. It's funny because I too found the Dream Star build and have been using it as a guide. I'd be interested in seeing the new one if you find the time and feel better soon by the way.
This build is my Magic user Healer/Dps I find it works really well in alerts being able to switch from healing to giving out some damage when the need arises.
Hope I don't stick a wall of text at you guys. I have 2-3 different builds with Dream Star since I've posted that guide.
If you're looking for extreme support, and all out healing (which you said you didn't, but posting it for other to see), here's Light, the new super support---
Light's Stat http://imageshack.us/f/846/screenshot2012102918011.jpg/
Primary Pre with secondary Con + Int. Took Sentry & Sentinel for Heal Buffs, Heals, and most awesomely, buff holds and their durations (Vengeance + Psionic Accelerator.)
If you note the picture, Light has 611 and no mods in con or int. basically I stuck everything possible into pre. reason being is that with such high pre, AoRP gives 127% resist to team (defiance levels), makes your bubbles 5k, iniquity 2.5, conviction for 3.3k and so on, all BEFORE compassion stacks, which are 23% per stack. This build is to be a more extreme build than Dream Star's original build. NOTHING will die in your team. But I'll tell you 2 things: 1. In CO hardly no one ever wants to run Elite Therakiel Temple runs or farm Teleiosaurus and such 2. This build sacrifices everything for teaming purposes, so Solo'n with this build isn't the most 'fun'. Those 2 points are the main reason why you don't see me logged in with Light.
Now. For the new Dream Star build, I went with a few changes. Since Light is now my support support, and Dream Star is magicthemed I went with a 3 different 'attack' based builds.
Primary Ego and Con + Dex secondary. In primary Ego I went with 3 points of Sixth sense and 2 points of Follow Through. I purposely make MY con & Dex higher than my primary Ego, to get the most out of Sixth sense, which made my crit chance somewhere around 56% crit chance. Of course, I went with Guardian + Vindicator in this build.
This build is very thematic, and if you got all things playing well, has tons of potential with such high crit chance. Again, very thematic and great dmg while being very survivable, like Gem Star.
The 2nd build is essentially the same as the previous just took out Seraphim and replaced it with Ebon Destruction Aura with added pets. But that build got refined to this new one I'm testing out--
Dream Star (tentative current) Ebon Destruction, Elemental Magic
--Taking inspiration from Winx Club (yes, I've seen it, blame my sister =p )
Primary Ego with Sixth Sense and Follow Through for the same reasons as mentioned above. This time though I have Presence and the third will decide between Int or Con. Int to lower cooldown and Con for survival. Presence for Ebon Aura buff to team and self heals. The theory behind this is that Fire Snake is essentially a summon that debuffs target to elemental dmg. this is where the rest of this build comes in. Pyromancer deals fire dmg, so does arcane sigils. Ebon Wrath will buff those all, dealing incredible dmg. you can apply direct dmg via fire ball or avalanche, or heck any elemental attack. then, even further, if you happen to grab Teleiosaurus Pheremones, which I *think* those pets deal toxic (elemental dmg). Oh and don't forget Ice Grenades if you grab'm they're handy cause...well you get the point, major dmg via elemental magic. This build pushes tons of dmg and is also great fun and thematic.
Oh almost forgot, the specializations. Went with Guardian and Commander to buff pets. I'm leaning a lot towards choosing my third stat as int, since I coupled it with Legion Speed, which lowers cooldowns. my Conviction cooldown is 2 secs, and arcane sigils are 12 secs, etc.
