I have a yen to create a survivable Ice/Munitions character; it's more of a concept than something I want to crow praises of. My more logistically-minded friend helped me put this together, and it survives Training Room DEMON at Hard x5 just fine.

I'm having Energy issues, which I'm hoping can be mitigated with decent gear. My only caveat is wanting Gatling Gun (concept, like I said). Is there anything else that could be done with it? I'm not looking for the End-All-Be-All of super Tanking, just something that works well for mostly soloing.
Switching to PSS EGO will give you access to Insight, lowering the cost of all your ranged powers. This will also let Killer Instinct and Concentration pull more weight in the energy department.
Your Utility slots gear at 40 will reduce the cost of your powers even further. You should be more than fine after that.

A nice super-stat mix for high-energy/maintain builds, I've found, is INT / con / rec (con for tank builds, dex or ego for ranged non-tanks, str for melee non-tanks).
Anyway, INT is nice SS'd, and I recommend REC over END, as well. If you use MAINTAIN powers a lot, then Overdrive might be better. I like that a lot! I am very biased towards maintain powers, though.
