Need some Advice for an Aura

The Title is self explanatory, I've been considering for one of my Dragon Brothers future creation, focusing on Sorcery, however in my 4+ Months I've played on CO only seen this Aura Twice and was wondering, what's wrong with it? and am I making the right choice?

I need your opinions on the Aura of Arcane Clarity, like why choose this Aura that gives you affects of a Higher Intelligence when say the Aura of Primal Majesty is superior by boosting all stats, tho I don't wish to start using the same since I've already got one Brother using it, thus why I approach you, the Community to give some Insight.

I take this quote from a review that I agree with.

"customisation is so linear; everyone is after the optimal dps:survivability ratio with 0 reliance on other players = autonomous gameplay... Players don't need each other anymore... which in my opinion is a bad thing."

wait Wait. u Mean aura, like a Passive slot (cause there are no actual Auras here)? Id advise invincible or Invulnerable from Ice, but thats not really magical. Depends on whether u want it for roleplay.

    *Sighed* Did it again.

What else was I referring to? yes the Slotted Passive, I already Plan Invulnerability for another Dragon Brother, I need Opinions on this one.

Aura of Arcane Clarity, and for PvE/Symbolism.

Aura of Arcane Clarity just doesn't cut it for what you can take for your freeforms now.

Forms give huge energy boosts, Energy unlocks give energy boosts, and utility slot gear gives nice cost reductions to top it off. Not to mention the 3rd superstat that most people will take to cover an energy need. All of these together just takes energy issues out of the equation for just about every toon, in turn, making AoAC pretty worthless.

To top it off, a lot of the spec trees for certain stats furter reduce the cost of powers, like Insight for EGO, reduces the cost of ranged powers. STR has one for melee, but I forget the actual name of it.

There really isn't much of a need for extra energy or cost efficiency above and beyond what is already given to players now, so most will try to maximize something else since energy management is already given to us by other means.

Remember: Half the people you know are below average...

Do not correct a fool, for he will hate you for it. Correct a wise man, for he will appreciate you for it.

Don't be like the Qularr. They would not last one round in the Interstellar Galactic Arena...

    Handle @brayv

This is, Disappointing, I might end up using Primal Majesty in place of Arcane Clarity. :frown: Tis a Shame indeed, why doesn't it get a Buff or something?

They were on the right track when they added in the charge time reduction benefit, but then they just sorta ignored it and moved on. If that were made to be more powerful an effect, it could very well make the aura worthwhile. :( Perhaps an increase in charge speed as well as a reduction in time between ticks for maintains and combos.
Dasher@Tool-box, donning his armor to prance into battle and blitz the enemy! No joke!
Cupid@Tool-box, stunningly radiant stag ready to play matchmaker between villain and arrow!
Vixon@Tool-box, frighteningly eager to summon despair for his adversaries!
Jebin Zedalu@Tool-box, elementalist weaponmaster. ...One of these things is not like the others!
