how about becoming intelligent and patching on monday and not friday since you cant patch without breaking something, usually a lot! so that the game is stable for the heavy weekend traffic instead of at its most broken!!

Whoa whoa whoa, no need to get so aggressive. TT literally just posted saying that they are working on the issue. You can put the table down.

I haven't got the fix patch (if it is out yet), but I wanted to report I managed to start the client, and even was able to fight Nimbus. When I tried entering his grave/tomb (whatever that instance is called), the client crashed, and it started sending a crash report. The BIG problem is the size of the dump it is sending - over 970MB (almost 1GB). I really want to know - what kind of information is being sent to the developers? why do you need to send 1GB of data from my computer?

Most of it is probably your collection of Rick Springfield music.
The issue should be resolved. If you had this issue, please close out and try patching back up. This should also resolve the crash issues some people were having.
I was online when the patch went through. Fought several Undead Heroes (well, as much as I could when the 40s were dropping everything before I could charge up my Ricochet Shot), and had no problems whatsoever.
Thanks, TT, for the prompt info here - and thanks to the devs for fixing this so quickly!
(Oh, and I did manage to increase my Skill by opening a node, so that seems to be working too...)

If this was a one off id agree, but it isnt.
EVERY single patch for the last few months has broken something, some of them so bad that things were broken for weeks or (like skill nodes) months afterwards.
How about the patch they had to roll back because it was so broken, that they patched the following week still broken anyway?
It isnt a one off thing its every single patch, so that the game is its most broken/unstable directly after patching, meaning that for the heavy heavy weekend traffic the game is at its worse.
ll that needs to happen is patching after the weekend instead of before, so its at its most fixed and stable when the game has its heaviest weekend traffic. It isnt rocket science to want the game most stable then not least, nor is it rocket science to realise how to achieve this.
If i came accross as being rude to trailturtle i appologise, i wasnt directing this at him but at the person making these stupid decisions.
I can actually agree with serendipity. It's becoming to frequent that now a patch that isn't broken is a surprised. That it's time schedual should be moved so that if/when something breaks, Staff are still at work to see it. Not away for the weekend making people unable to play and have to wait for a fix.

Not a bad idea.
Have new patches go live on Monday so that there is more time to fix major problems before the weekend.
Critters/Bosses
Fixed Shadow Destroyer in the nemesis confrontation mission so the fight will progress through the correct phases again.
The crystals in the Shadow Destroyer fight remain bugged, sometimes becoming invalid targets and sometimes not despawning when at zero health. They (inconsistently) continue to function while invalid targets and when at zero health.

OTOH, it appears that they actually did stay. I was running Wolfwere through the ghost town in the Desert; I was disconnected twice in a row while trying to clease the well in the graveyard. (Seriously, old-west guys, who puts their well in the graveyard??) After that, though, when I logged back in, stability improved. I had two instances of "server not responding" in the mine, but they unfroze after a few seconds; and while the first time I defeated Talisman, Witchcraft continued to struggle against her (no longer extant) chains and refused to follow, all I had to do was leave, re-enter, and go through the process of getting her out again. Didn't even have to drop the mission and restart. And after the second "server not responding", that stopped too, and I was able to rescue Bethany and get over to Prof. Ciraulo before almost falling asleep at the keyboard and deciding to stop for the nonce. (Then later I went in to finish up a couple of things on Stoner, and he never had any connectivity issues at all!)
So it looks like the Engineers may have solved the issue. And I bet the devs didn't have to strap bombs to their exoskeletons to make them cooperate!

Has anyone else had graphical issues since Blood Moon patch launched? Since the 'Additional optimization to world object collision throughout game maps to improve performance and reduce load times' patch on the 14 September went live, my performance drastically improved. I was playing up to the day before the Blood Moon patch, and was even able to restore settings I'd previously had to disable as the performance grew gradually worse over time, with no real hit to my framerate.
I log in today and all of my graphics options were reset, and the game ran horribly even in half resolution mode on minimum settings.
This makes me concerned for future event patches: if their content is unoptimised, my game is going to keep becoming unplayable, and I'm going to have to sit out of every special event.
Typical that this would happen just as the improvements to performance rekindle my interest in playing.

I can't tell. ever since On Alert, my computers always handled CO badly now. I literally spend over 5 minutes under the zone maps wiating for everything to load when i log in. and rubberband like hell.
But i noticed for bloodmoon, i rubberband even more exclusively when i fight him, i rubberband even when i'm not moving. when my understanding is, you can only rubberband when data sent from your PC gets lost while being sent to the server, so how it manage to move north when i never went north is beyond me.

Patching,
Updating my drivers,
Verifying,
Patching,
Fiddling with the update on demand settings,
Now currently reinstalling the game from scratch.

Deliciously nutritious!
Being rude is uncalled for.

I keep my pr0n and Rick Springfield music in separate hard drive.
And playing by myself since Aug 2009

Originally, patch days were Tuesday...
Then for a short time they were Wednesday...
Then they went to Thursday...
Now it's Friday...
Give it time, Monday should be coming up soon!

You fixed the helmet and made it and the chest armor more widely available than before. I'm very thankful for that. b^^
But still, the bracers and shoulder pads are not found in the list. And I heard people complaining about their Sorceror Hat having disappered.
