Well, here we are again, back in the Dollhouse. This is version 2.0 so there might be some slight modifications. Once again, thank you all for stopping by. Now, on to the original introduction.
______________________________

Welcome to the Dollhouse!

Behold, Champions! You are about to experience a most unusual sight, one that might SHOCK you to your very core! Brace yourselves as you bear witness to the AMAZING creations of the mysterious being known only as THE DOLLMAKER! For the first time in the history of History, with your very own eyes, you will see these elusive and BIZARRE constructs!

Before you think otherwise, these are NOT playthings for little Susie. No, these are LIVING DOLLS! Designed, assembled and then brought to life, each Doll has a specific purpose, a reason for being. But just what each purpose is, only the Dollmaker can say for sure.

Now, you are about to take a tour of the domain of the Dolls, but please observe the rules.
Rule #1: NO TOUCHING--we are not responsible for mutilated body parts.
Rule #2: FOLLOW THE DESIGNATED PATH--once lost, none have EVER been found.
Rule #3: NO INSULTS--the Dolls don't like it, neither will you.
Rule #4: OBEY ALL PREVIOUS RULES--failure to comply will result in... something unpleasant. Extremely so.

So, without further ado, follow me as we enter the Dollhouse. Watch your step and I apologize for all the dust, the construction is still ongoing. Besides, it's not the mess you should fear...

(I sincerely hope you all like my dolls, but if not, I understand my tastes are not for everyone. Also, as this is a work in progess, I implore you to have patience with me as I post new dolls. I'm not so good with pictures but I try my best.)

Allie Synchains (Photo)

Powers: Infernal (all chain powers)/Bestial (for some claws)/Aura of Ebon Destruction (for the cool hand glow)

Travel Powers: Blazing Speed & Fire Flight

Power Colors: Everything in YellowGreen

Inspiration: I was testing some previously unused powers when I came across the Infernal chain powers. This gave me an idea for a name, tweaking the spelling in a way I haven't seen before. With a few basic ideas, I hit the creator. I used all the chain pieces I own/could find but something was missing. I decided to make her slightly less human, with clawed feet/hands, a tail, serpent skin and slitted eyes. I never change the head, I think anything other than a humanoid look takes away for the doll aspect. In the end, I'm quite pleased with how Allie turned out.
______________________________

Bubblegum Barbwire (Photo)

Powers: Might/some Unarmed

Travel Powers: Acrobatics & Super Jump

Power Colors: Pink(ish), as close to bubblegum pink as possible

Inspiration: Barbwire was my second doll, the first being modeled after a porcelain doll, so I went for a more plastic Barbie-esque look. Pink as a primary color was used to highlight her femininity, but to show a degree of toughness jet black was used as second prime. Toughness=Strength so I went for a Might/Unarmed build, however the two didn't seem to want to blend well for me. So other than a couple of higher tier Unarmed, Barb is Might. Looks and powers done, it was time to name her. Bubblegum for the color pink and Barbwire because it's tough and Barb can be short for Barbie.
______________________________

Bunny Brightstar (Photo)

Powers: No mix 'n' match here, Fire all the way (nothing else seemed to fit the concept)

Travel Powers: Super Jump & Phoenix Flight

Power Colors: Default, the basic fire color works best

Inspiration: Bunny was one of the toughest dolls so far. I only had a basic idea, animal. No beast head, more like a person-in-an-animal-costume. Having seen too many cat-ear characters I decided to try bunny instead. So I entered the creator... and then stopped. No idea what direction I was going. Ok, skip the costume and work on the name. Hmm, something Bunny... Bunny something... ok, skip the name for now and work on powers. So I tried another unfamiliar power and went with fire. The costume fell into place after that. Bunny ears, tail and a simple, basic tights /w fire pattern. Red and orange flames, black as a defining line as well as symbolizing soot, char. Now the name was easy, Fire=the Sun, the Sun is a Star, Stars are bright and so Bunny Brightstar was born.
______________________________

Dolly Killjoy (Photo)

Powers: Bestial Supernatural/Darkness (mostly for Void Shift)/Rebirth from Infernal

Travel Powers: Acrobatics & Teleport

Power Colors: ?? Maybe the Darkness color?

Inspiration: Dolly was the first, the First Doll. She was created specifically for the Design A Villain contest. I wanted to make an evil doll character and immediately thought of the Child's Play movies, so the looks were easy. That made me think about the Puppetmaster movies and the Dollhouse concept was born (with a little bit of Small Soldiers thrown in). Anyhow, back on track. Dolly was modeled after a porcelain doll, with the white skin, bows and frilly clothes. Also, I figured nothing screams evil like red eyes, claws and a beast stance, right? Ok, maybe not but it couldn't hurt. She's a creature of the dark so Bestial and Darkness fit, and since evil living dolls are hard to kill and keep that way I added Rebirth. As for the name, Dolly because she's a doll and Killjoy because the killing of joy is an evil deed.... or maybe I'm just strange.

"A pretty face, a fancy dress, picture-perfect hair
Porcelain skin, sharpened claws, bloodred eyes that stare
A child's plaything with a twist, a new unholy toy
She'll slash your hopes and shred your dreams, she'll even kill your joy"--Unknown Author
______________________________

Sally Shocktart (Photo)

Powers: Electric/maybe something else just for the shock (i.e. suprise) factor

Travel Powers: Electric Teleport & Electric Flight

Power Colors: Most likely the default color

Inspiration: I wanted to do an Electric theme this time and started working on Sally. She would have a "shocking" personality so the costume had to reflect that, thus the spiked mohawk, trashy clothes and miscolored jewelry. Originally went with blue/white for primary colors but since white was more like a secondary-primary I felt it was a little boring. Changed it to yellow and that seemed to fit better. The name was pretty easy--Shock for the powers & personality, Tart because she looked kind of trampy. Sally was tacked on last because it blended fairly well with Shocktart.
______________________________

Valerie Valkyrie (Photo)

Powers: Heavy Weapons/Celestial

Travel Powers: Flight & ??

Power Colors: Once again, the default colors

Inspiration: One day, while working on new concepts, the thought of a valkyrie popped into my head. Valerie sounds like valkyrie so I easily had the name. The powers fell into place just as easily, HW was a better fit than either single- or dual-blades and Celestial due to the divine nature of valkyries. I checked out a few pictures and knew what the costume was going to look like. The colors went through a few changes. White/silver didn't work because bright silver blended into the white too much. Then it was white/gold but that match seemed too weak together. I finally ended up with white and that... bluish color. So far, Valerie was the first doll that I knew almost everything I wanted to do before I started.

On a side note, I really wish there was a way to get all the names of the colors in the CO palette.
______________________________

Polly Powershot (Photo)

Powers: Power Armor/Force

Travel Powers: Rocket Jump & Jetpack/boots

Power Colors: Default... for now

Inspiration: Polly started off as a power choice and Powershot seemed an appropriately sounding PA name. The costume went smoothly until I realized that all those mecha parts were a little too bulky for her. She was starting to look like a person in a suit, so I scaled down to a more minimalist look with retro sci-fi. As an added bonus, I really like the shimmer that comes from the iridescent and brushed metal parts. Polly was modeled after large scale action figures, the kind with launching foam "rockets" and water-for-laser 'beams". Ok, maybe that's old school but I AM old sooo....... Anyhow, I went with a military look for the hair and the dark green as my primary color while white and that burnt orange for secondary/tertiary were used to soften the look so that she wasn't all dark hues.
______________________________

Emily Earthborn (Photo)

Powers: Earth, of course/maybe some might, just to smack stuff around

Travel Powers: Hmm, Tunneling? And maybe Super Jump? I don't really like Earth Flight, but who knows

Power Colors: Yep, default.... again

Inspiration: I was thinking about the Earth powers and decided to make a doll for it. So I "dug" into the creator and started playing around with what earth pieces I had. I saw Emily as having been born of the earth, at one with the planet or more accurately, a part of it. A rocky look, colored stone gray, worked very well. A couple of fur pieces, colored green, reminded me of moss on a rock and felt like a nice addition. The glow parts I colored amethyst purple, to signify a deep, underlying power. A little green in the hair, like a hanging vine, and Emily was done.
______________________________

Stevie Steelsinger (Photo)

Powers: Dual Blades/Single Blades

Travel Powers: Acrobatics & ??

Power Colors: The non-customized D-Fault

Inspiration: As soon as I decided to do a Blades concept I had the name. Singing is about harmony, swords are made of steel, Stevie is in harmony with her swords and thus I ended up with Steelsinger. After that I ran into problems with my biggest critic.... Me. I chose Dark Armor and went with dark blue & gold but couldn't make the chest piece work. I switched to the Knight Armor but the colors didn't blend well on the shoulders/arms. Changing the gold to sea green work perfectly until I realized my next problem. I was using the Spartan helm/forward plume but the colorable sections were too big/small and I ended up with too much/little of each color. After many attempts to make it work, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. I replaced the helm with the circlet and added the french braid. I found the results pleasing and I was done.
______________________________

Wendy Windstrom (Photo)

Powers: Wind/some Electric

Travel Powers: Tornado Flight & Electric Flight

Power Colors: Default for Wind and maybe yellow for Electric

Inspiration: When I started on Wind I knew I had to mix in some Electric, but it would still be mostly Wiind. Research indicated that Strom is German and usually means "electric current". Strom is also very close to storm so it fit the Wind/Electric concept perfectly. The costume was something different for me. I noticed that I tend to work with dark colors, reflective metal and glows so I decided to use little-to-none for Wendy. I chose to use bright, light colors: blue skies, white clouds, soft yellow sunshine. I added a few lightning accents to draw attention to a deeper power. I finished it off with the long scarf because I think it looked great flapping in the breeze.
______________________________

Isis Icemistress (Photo)

Powers: Ice (if you couldn't figure that out from her name then I must be doing something wrong)

Travel Powers: I haven't nailed this down yet and I'm not a fan of Ice Slide, so maybe some sort of flight.

Power Colors: There's a new color in town and her name is... Dee Fault (I'm running out of jokes for this :))

Inspiration: I really like the Ice concept but all of my previous attempts to create an Ice character ended in failure. All of my Ice costumes sucked and by sucked I mean that after a handful of levels I realized that I hated the costume. In my defense, I did create the costumes quickly and jumped into playing right away. With Isis I took my time, working on her a little bit here and there, examining her from all angles to make sure I was going to be happy with my design. It was also the first time working with Ice since I got the Retro Scifi set. I have to say, I really like using the Scifi pieces and the iridescent and brushed metal textures work amazingly well for many costumes. In this case they created a nice light-on-ice shimmer effect. As for the name, that took a bit of work. Since most of the powers involve the manipulation of ice, I wanted a name that fit. After a half dozen tries I finally settled on Isis Icemaiden.
______________________________

Dahlia Darkblade (Photo)

Powers: Dual Blades/Darkness

Travel Powers: Acrobatics & Teleport (or maybe Magic Carpet, not sure on that yet)

Power Colors: The "New & Improved" Standard colors

Inspiration: I decided to do a Mix-N-Match with odd power combinations and I thought "Dark and Blades, why not?". So I headed on over to the creator to see what I could come up with when it hit me. Dark and Blades... Darkblade! With name firmly in hand the ideas started to flow. Multiple sword pieces seemed a must have as well as lots of black coloring. A couple of Arcane and Dark Armor bits to symbolize where her magic comes from and metal clothing for the armored look (and yes, that's an armored skirt). I went with what I felt was a touch of Eastern/Middle Eastern influence (slightly dusky skin, jade as secondary coloring) and then topped her off with a name that was resonably exotic (to me, anyway)... Dahlia.
______________________________

Gloria Gunmaiden (Photo)

Powers: Munitions (or... Guns, lots of guns)

Travel Powers: Acrobatics & Swinging

Power Colors: Basic, standard, original... you know the drill by now

Inspiration: This one went through multiple changes (name, powers, costume) before I settled on the current choice. She started off as Sammie Sixshooter, an old west gunslinger but I thought the costume was a little plain. She then became Magic Maggie Magee, guns and sorcery, still western but with some arcane bits. Still didn't like the look I came up with. So I decided to erase the whiteboard and start from scratch. This time I went with a more modern, urban look with straight up munitions. The urban warrior, street-smart and gun-knowledgeable. Greens and browns for a slight military coloring plus the included dogtags. The final piece was the mask, not to hide but to intimidate the enemy. Gunmaiden felt like an appropriate name and I tacked on Gloria to complete her.
______________________________

Gidget Gadgetsmith (Photo)

Powers: Gadgeteering

Travel Powers: Hoverdisk & ?(maybe jetpack, after costume change)

Power Colors: Not even sure why I still put this in here...

Inspiration: Ok, time for a Gadgeteer. I had some ideas for Gidget before I start working on her. I pictured her as a mixed Gadgeteer, old school and new age. Work-style clothes (complete with leather chaps and suspenders) were a throwback to older times. For the modern look I went with the robotic hand instead of the steampunk version. To make her seem a little more advanced I used the holo hex fields. And since nothing screams Gadgeteer like that strange back piece... there you are. As for the coloring, I tried to stick with older metal colors: Iron, Copper, Bronze, Brass. As for the name, once I chose to go with Gadgetsmith, Gidget was a must-have first name.
______________________________

Mindy Mindfire (Photo)

Powers: Telepathy/Telekinesis--no Ego Blades

Travel Powers: Honestly, I have no idea... err, Coming Soon!

Power Colors: Purple... or something like it...

Inspiration: I have never used Telepathy or Telekinesis before, but I decided to try my hand at a mental-powered character. It should be fairly obvious by now that most of my costumes tend to give some idea of what powers are used. Working with that in mind I started with a set of tights. Didn't like it so I tried tights with skin. Still didn't like it. Back to no skin, changed legs to long skirt, realized I could use the flame pattern on it and went from there. Aquired some Psi pieces to add to her, then took it a step further and added the Aftershock "of Edom" pieces. Pink/purple/black coloring and swirly eyes for a more ominous feel. The name was easy: Mindy contains the word "mind" and Mindfire because she can use her powers to fry your mind.
______________________________

Bianca Battlewitch (Photo)

Powers: See below

Travel Powers: Magic Carpet & Mystic Flight (must.. farm.. questionite...)

Power Colors: See below

Inspiration: I see Bianca as a more traditional fantasy spellcaster. I don't see her using much in the way of Sorcery powers. Instead, she would command the powers of fire and ice, electricity and wind, in addition to standard magic. While this probably wouldn't make a very good build (too many power sets, no synergy), Bianca is more about the feel of the concept than the actual application. When I was creating Mindy (see above) I discovered that long skirts had the witchcraft pattern, which was a perfect fit for Bianca. The colors were just a random mixing that seemed to work well together. The cape and tiara with the veil were added for the fantasy feel, while the eyes are fuzzy to indicate that she sees beyond what normal people see. The armored bits are there because, after all, she is a BATTLEwitch.
______________________________

Cayla & Carmen Cyberfist (Photo)

Powers: Martial Arts/dash of Might

Travel Powers: Acrobatics & ??

Power Colors: Does it really even matter anymore?

Inspiration: Next on the list was Martial Arts, so I was looking for a Ninja or Kung Fu theme, with a twist. I came up with the name Cyberfist and tried using the robotic hand. It was ok but needed something more and I thought "why not do the whole arm?", so I swapped out the arm to match the hand. Now, since everyone knows two is better than one, I replaced the other arm/hand as well. With all pieces in place it was time to color it all. I used dark blue as the prime with white as a chaser, then I sat back to take in the whole picture. Hmm, I always seem to gravitate towards dark colors first, so I decided to reverse the colors: white/prime, dark blue/secondary. Now I had a dilemma, I actually liked both color schemes. Well, sticking with the '2 is better' theme I figured why not use both. This doll originally started as Cindy Cyberfist but ended up being what you see here: Cayla and Carmen Cyberfist, the Cyberfist Twins!
______________________________

Vicky Viperstrike (Photo)

Powers: Claws/Might (and a dash of Supernatural)

Travel Powers: Mach Speed & ??

Power Colors: Green, to match the claw blades

Inspiration: Vicky started off as a costume idea, a very loose idea. I wanted to use the Serpent Lantern pieces but since I didn't own any of them at the time, I had no way to know how they would look on her. So I began to farm for them and as I acquired each piece I added the new ones to the costume. Once I had them all, I realized I liked it better than expected. Colors took a bit of time to get right. I didn't want to use the usual Viper colors (she's NOT an agent of Viper) and I wanted to go with a serpent styling. Dusty, earth browns and dull green seemed a good fit, somewhat styled after the sidewinder rattlesnake of the southwestern U.S. The use of claw weapons led to the cybernetic arm parts, to indicate enhanced strength. Also, I'm not sure how the eyepatch got there but I decided to keep it anyway. Viper costume + claws became the name Viperstrike, Vicky seemed a fitting first name and that's all she wrote.
______________________________

Fiona Forcerunner (Photo)

Powers: Force

Travel Powers: Distortion/Displacement Superspeed (the non-ninja run one) & Lightspeed (evolving power)

Power Colors: Hopefully something other than the default... hopefully.

Inspiration: So, moving down the list I came upon Force. Instantly I thought "finally, I have a use for the Foxbat speaker costume piece". I'm not really sure where that thought came from but I decided to run with it. Using the speaker and the added eye visor would allow me to play around with the emanation points for the powers, something I don't usually do. I also chose not to fight my urge to use dark colors. The name Forcerunner came about from the intent to make her a speedster. As a symbol of her enhanced speed I placed the lightning pattern on the legs only. Per my usual, she got the standard metal texture for the armored look (and, because she runs so fast, she finds it easier to clean the bugs off metal as opposed to washing leather or cloth). I always liked the name Fiona so I slapped that on for completion.
______________________________

Leslie Laserblade (Photo)

Powers: Laser Swords (and other Power Armor stuff)

Travel Powers: Light Speed & ?? (maybe Energy Slide)

Power Colors: Blue, Purple or a bit of both (work in progress)

Inspiration: Leslie was first envisioned just after the new Laser Sword powers were added to Power Armor. The base powers were obvious and the name was chosen to be simple and descriptive. I decided to make the costume in a similar theme, simple and revolving around light. A basic suit (metal to reflect light), a few glow points and the holo hex fields were perfect. I played around with the color and glow for the holo hex fields until I found what you see. It's a dark blue with full glow that appears blue-purple and looks blurry from most angles. The greenish-blue for the suit seemed to fit well with the holos. Added in Light Speed (of course) and Leslie Laserblade was ready for duty.
______________________________

Veruca Venomsong (Photo)

Powers: Infernal (minus the chain powers)

Travel Powers: Still undecided, maybe Power Flight colored green or even Scarab Tunneling/Flight

Power Colors: Green, anything else would be... weird

Inspiration: The basis for Veruca is a revisitation of the Infernal powers. All the way back at the beginning, Allie Synchains used Infernal for the chain powers. This time around, we have Veruca using all of the non-chain abilities. Where the focus of Synchains is the visual effects (i.e. seeing the chains), the focus of Venomsong is damage type application (stacking poisons). Her costume is a loose continuation of Viperstrike, using the last of the Serpent armor pieces (helmet/mouth). I also used the Roin'esh shoulders because they reminded me of fangs. Green and black colors often associated with poison/pestilence/disease so I used both almost exclusively. The Venomsong name was simple: Venom (Viper-style costume, in tune with poison) and -song (she's in harmony with her powers), modeled after Stevie Steelsinger's naming concept. This is the first doll inspired by my own creations, three in total. I better watch out or I'll end up "borrowing" too much from myself and losing what little originality I have.
______________________________

Betty BowBlade (Photo)

Powers: Archery/Single Blades/Gadgeteering

Travel Powers: Swinging & Acrobatics

Power Colors: D... de... default. Whew, almost couldn't get that out.

Inspiration: Archery is a power I've never touched before so I thought I'd give it a try (at least conceptually). As I didn't see a bow being a viable weapon in close quarters fighting, I decided to pair it with single blades. And since I didn't want all her "tricks" to be from archery alone I added some gadgeteering to the mix. I imagined her as having a somewhat flamboyant personality, a swashbuckling do-gooder with a flair for the dramatic. Greens and red with a dash of gold trimmings so that she is in contrast with her environment, no blending in with the scenery. The left side has a light bit of armoring to help protect her bow hand and the right side is bare above the glove for freedom of movement for her sword arm. Swinging and acrobatics felt like the perfect travel powers, so those were added in. Betty was the first name to come to mind so I went with that. The last name went through several changes (Bowshot, Bowsteel) before I settled on the much more fittingly descriptive BowBlade. That.... that's all.
______________________________

Stella Starcutter (Photo)

Powers: Power Armor/Gadgeteering/Force (not finalized yet but most likely some combination)

Travel Powers: Jet Pack &... maybe Teleport? (as some sort of improvised wormhole)

Power Colors: I'm not sure on this yet, will be determined by what powers go in the build

Inspiration: I had an idea for a space-faring adventurer and so began working on Stella. I wanted a character who traveled throughout the cosmos, yet wasn't necessarily tied to a space craft, so I went with the spacesuit/jetpack combo. The primary color of black is designed to be camouflage for her while in space. And since an all black costume would be rather bland and boring, I added some blue for the glows. I think this is the first time I've used Retro Scifi pieces without the brushed metal/iridescent shimmer. As for the hair, I'm not sure why I used the dreadlocks, maybe something she picked up from an alien culture (or maybe because I've never used it before *shrug*). I don't think of her as pure PA so I'm possibly starting her with the Particle/Pulse Beam Rifle from Gadgeteering. After that I might move on to PA, mainly for the hand slot powers. Top it all off with a little Force(field) and there you go, one Stella Starcutter to go. Of course, that build could totally suck in which case I'll just scrap the whole idea and start over from scratch. Won't be the first time.... or the last.
***End Transmission***

Shannon Shadowblaze (Photo)

Powers: Fire & Shadow (Darkness)

Travel Powers: Fire Flight & IHNI (I Have No Idea)

Power Colors: Purple, the darkest Purple available (finally something besides default)

Inspiration: Shadowblaze was originally intended to be an alternate costume for Starcutter. However, I started to have a new idea for a cosmic-powered individual around the same time. This idea began to dictate the path of the costume until I realized she was no longer Stella Starcutter. The name Astralfire came to mind but this didn't feel right for her, so I turned to examining the powers and looking for different combinations. Seeing as I haven't used Shadow powers beyond the block and lunge I decided to go with that. Now I needed to figure out what to pair it with. I kept coming back to that name--Astralfire--when it hit me... Fire. DUH!! (yes, sometimes I'm a knucklehead) After that the name was easy. Power colors, since there is no black, are the darkest color available. The hand glow is from the Jewel of Edom, which is mostly hidden by the Large Nephelim neck piece. And that's how you make a Shannon Shadowblaze. Enjoy!

    Updated again, this one's a double-billing:

    The Cyberfist Twins

As always, I will continue to update the original post with any new dolls.
Unless, of course, there really IS a character limit, in which case I'll probably just edit these update notification posts with any new entries... and then post new entries... notifying you of the updated post. (note to self: stop talking)

    "GLARING OMISSION: CORRECTION"
As I've failed to mention this before, feedback is welcome but please refrain from being overly mean. Hey, maybe you could just pretend that I'm doing good work and shower me with Glowing Praise... or you could just forget I said that.

    Dolls, huh?

I like dolls, tho, after all that "prepare yourself hero" creepy talking I imagined it to be more dark/creepy/scary/bizarre style. Still, very good job, I like those dolls.

But 1 thing... I don't remember seeing any doll with such big... ahem... you got the point. According to my knowledge about dolls, most of them have flat chest(or atleast not that big). And no, barbie isn't a doll, it's a product. Dolls are art on their own.

For the intro, I modeled it after the style of a typical carnival barker. It is intended to be an attention-getter, and you're here, so I'll call it a success.

As for this, I have tried playing around with the sliders but too many variables are present. If I go too flat it distorts a wide range of chest pieces (for example, Gidget's suspenders become super thin, but only at the spot where the breasts are). Also, any amount of body mass above the first couple of ticks alters the breast size. To get the right amount of flatness I would have to spend too much time tweaking the sliders, which is all dependant on the costume selection for each doll. I created a template that is the basis of most every doll. It's not perfect but it requires only minimal tweaking.

Ok, here we'll just have to agree to disagree. From what I've read, Barbie is considered a "fashion doll". Also, the definition of a doll (according to Merriam-Webster) is as such: a small-scale figure of a human being used especially as a child's plaything.

As always, thanks for dropping by. Please don't be deterred by anything I said. I do so enjoy the company (it's pretty quiet in here). We are all entitled to our opinions and I thank you for sharing yours. Keep checking back, I have more dolls on the way!

The Cyberfist Twins look really, really cool. That's pretty much all there is to it. I think either of the costumes would probably work just fine on their own, but put them together in the same image like that and it just looks terrific.

Fiona Forcerunner is another favorite. Good job with that Foxbat chest piece... I think it's a really great looking costume piece (and so it was the first costume piece I grabbed with Recognition), but I can't for the life of me put together a costume where it works without looking like a guy wearing a cheesy speaker on his shirt. You've made it look weaponized, and like it's part of a whole. Very nice work.

Lots of good costumes in here!

Thanks, jonesing4, I glad to see you like them. It didn't seem to make sense to do the Twins seperate. I mean, they ARE twins after all. I'm not very good with picture editing (I mostly use the basic Windows paint program) so it's nice to hear that you think highly of it.

As for Fiona, yes, that Foxbat speaker is rather hard to work with and make it look good. I believe it works better for females because of the main attribute (or two:biggrin:) that the males lacks. I think she turned out pretty well and it's refreshing to know it's not just my own biased opinion.

Thanks again and keep checking back for more!

Yes, it's time for another (EXTREMELY OVERDUE) Update!

This time I present to you the lovely, yet toxic:

    Veruca Venomsong

Enjoy (or not), comment (or not), I'm always happy to have visitors.

I would also like to extend a warm welcome to all of the relocated Champions (CoX players). While this city might not be the same as your City, I hope you enjoy your visit and decide to take up (semi)permanent residence here. More Champions are always needed!

it's a toss up between Sally Shocktart (love the name) and Valerie Valkyrie for me, with Wendy Windstrom following right behind.

all your dolls are nicely done, but to me, those three in particular stand out.

Ok, I'm back and I see I've had some visitors, so let me begin by saying "Thank you!".

Now, let me see, who do I reply to...

@pariahoyama: Awesome, you say? In all capital letters no less. I'm glad you like them all, especially Gloria. I always thought of her as the "Plain Jane" of the group. No superpowers, no hi-tech weapons, no supernatural abilities. Of course, put a gun in her hand, give her some bullets and nothing will stand in her way. Yes, she can be a bit sassy but when the fighting is tough she can be deadly serious. This in no way prevents her from throwing out mid-fight, testosterone-laden, 80's-action-movie-style one liners. I did say she could be sassy, right? Thank you for your kind comment.

@jasinblaze: Thanks, I'm glad you think they look good. Yes, I do update the original post with all the new dolls. The comments are just to notify people of an update, specifically with the name of the newest doll(s). This way, not only do you know when an update occurs, you also know which one(s) to look at (in case you missed a few).

@zebelle: Thank you, it pleases me to know that people enjoy my work. So, Sally and Valerie huh? Personally, I like Valerie more but Sally was a lot of fun to work with. She was one of my earlier dolls and as such might need a bit of tweaking. Some head stubble and a little muscle definition for sure. What do you think about some tattoos? Anyhow, Wendy in third? There's something to be said for simplicity after all, especially when it ranks in someone's top three. Thanks again!

Ok, thank you all for stopping by and be sure to check out the new update, which is due..... soon.

Currently back from the Land of Procrastination...

Wow! Finally, I'm back. Would you believe I was sucked into an alternate dimension and it took me a month to get back? No? How about a robot ate my computer because it thought it looked like a tasty snack? Not that either, huh? Perhaps you might believe me if I told you all my free time was stolen by the God of Work and I finally managed to free some of it? Aahh, things are starting to look clearer now...

Anyhow, here's my latest doll, an alternate merged with an idea and modified to be a new creation.... oh nevermind....

    I present to you:

    Shannon Shadowblaze

P.S. I've gone back and linked all the names to their pictures in the update comments and will continue to do so from here on out, for ease of viewing. Thanks as always and hope to see you soon (I hope to see ME again soon).
