Revenge is a dish best served cold; annihilation is downright frigid. The Mega-Destroid phase of the invasion is coming to Champions Online later this week... you've merely been granted a stay of execution. Tremble, Millennium City, for Dr. Destroyer is putting the final touches on his Mega-Destroids!

    I will be meeting this so called threat with an army of undead bears that care.
    Not joking about 5 of mah buddies have made undead care bears just for this event \o/

    but they removed the destroids from spawning at ren centre.

    Looks like a left hand doesnt know what right hand is doing since the destroids were removed from ren centre at the time the announcement and phase 2 was listed in game event as starting, just phase 2 didnt start, leaving those of us there waiting wasting our time because the announcements were wrong.

    Judging from all the time and work that has gone to get the event working problem free, it should stay around for at least two whole weeks. :cool:

    Really, any reason to give me time to farm for those rewards until my fingers are sore.

    And for the all the stress and teethgrinding it has brought down to players, everyone should recieve the 'Summon Champion To Aid You' device of their choice for goodwill and the coolfactor of Cryptic.

    Judging from all the time and work that has gone to get the event working problem free, it should stay around for at least two whole weeks

    Well it started yesterday and ends oct 2 still acording to the ingame calendar

    You can notify him if you want Fin as the last time I did he got grumpy and wiped out Detroit. :wink:

    that would be his helmet and lion shoulder pads, maybe the brooch cape (which isn't availible for chest wear normally). everything else is in the Tailor (silvers only requiring the legacy power armor and variety pak costume sets)

    Actually all we are missing is the helmet. The shoulderpads are from the Serpent Armor set.

    I've actually been a bit lost on this whole event. I've been in every week and i keep hearing things like "Play with the devs to fight Mega D's" and all this hype for the destroyer event, and all i've been able to find so far are the destroids roaming around. Has this whole event been horribly horribly planned or am i missing something? Why are some things saying this stuff is already going on when in game it can't be found? i'm honestly confused by the event so far....

    As I understand it: They discovered something broken on the PTS so they delayed it. I think this is better than dropping a bugged event onto a game that's already crawling with them.

    Well, to answer your questions a little bit easier the play with the devs was an event that was for the test servers which only gold members have access to (not sure if you knew that) so if you are silver you could not do it. also they found bugs in the test server and are working out the kinks so for a change we have an event that does not have any bugs.(crossing fingers here)

    Dr. D is like that really creepy uncle you don't see that often, and when he comes over, it causes all this DRAMA. The few times you see him, he really messes up all your plans for that day, and usually you end up worse off by the end of his long tirades on how the human race is bad and he intends to save the world by killing over half of it... Bloody humanitarian. Get a job, Dr D!

    The delay was posted in last weeks Patch notes.

    I gotta say I really enjoy this event. It gives me (Level 35) a chance to spend more time in the city, which I hardly ever see.

    Perhaps we could have a "Foxbat steals Christmas" event this year? With Fanboys dressed as Elves, and Foxbat dressed as Santa Claus?
