That little swinging guy on the login page...

The one in the background, swinging back and forth like a paper cutout? He's got to go. It looks like Baby's First Adobe Flash Project, seriously.

The flying people in the sky I can live with, but Hanging Booger Man needs to get run out of town.

Nah, if it was, it would have easing. :P

In more serious news, Foxbat swinging doesn't bother me quite as much as the 47-point perspective going on with the buildings.

It makes perfect sense. Foxbat obviously has hacked the game to add his likeness in any way he can. He is like that. Its not like he has had a ton of free time to improve his flash skills, what with all the criminal projects he is working on.

I would like to note, I am in no way being held hostage or being forced to say this.

Are you crazy? That is one of the best things about the login screen, especially when it is positioned to make it look like he is swinging off of the login tab where you type in your username and password.

I have to agree. I dislike Foxbat, generally, but this is one of the few things I enjoy about his presence in the game. It's supposed to look cheesy and out of place, it fits him perfectly. I actually think it would be neat if it happened more often (but not too often; like, twice more).

    Let's be perfectly honest here:

What's the average time you spend at the login page compared to the time you spend ingame for this to actually be of any real issue?

In my honest opinion, the whole login page should go and they should bring the old one back, as the graphics suck on the current one. Many of the new screens grate with me and I long for the earlier ones. I really want to know who was responsible for Sapphire's crotch jet and Witchcraft being turned into an ugly crone, I mean I know she is a witch, but still.

Remember when we got the double xp buff just a little while ago? I had to log into all my characters to get the buff. I spent a LOT of time looking at that screen.

    You people are so wrong.

It's wrong because Foxbat is not rotating 360 degrees over and over and accelerating.

More Foxbat? You don't know what you are asking for. Woe unto any hero he picks as his current Nemesis.

    * shivers at memories of Champions PnP session with Foxbot.

Note: A GM that properly runs Foxbot is a horribly evil thing to do to heroic Super Heroes.

Oh, nothing much - just converted the Ping-Pong Ball Gun (OAF) into an Arm Cannon built into the right sleeve of the costume (OIF), armored the costume, included a small force-field generator to provide a little extra ED (one of the heroes was excessively fond of his 10d6 EB), and boot jets to turn his Gliding into Flight. Oh, and I think I came up with a couple more powers for the Arm Cannon.

The heroes had no idea what they were up against...

Well sometimes it's not what Freddie (Foxbat) does, it's how he does it. For instance while thwarting Foxbat's latest masterful and ingenious "masterplan", a DPNC (Dependent NPC i.e. Jimmy Olsen for Superman) of one of the heroes gets injured and his wheel chair get's wheelchair smashed. No doubt by that incompetent dolt of a hero. Who should get his hero license revoked. Someone oughta' report him. He's a menace to society and well meaning villains. Well the dashing Foxbat saw what happened and stopped the fight to prevent the newbie hero from hurting anyone else.

Foxbat fled^h^h^h^h went to get some help. Soon an ambulance showed up. And Foxbat comeback and had a new electric wheelchar for the kid and a couple of gallons of the kid's favorite flavor of ice cream. The flamboyant Foxbat wished the kid well and left. The hero was in a bit of a conundrum: see to his injured DNPC or chase after the dashing and daring Foxbat. The hero stayed, but afterwards they heard about the Ice Cream palor in the mall reported several gallons of ice cream missing, and there was a break in at a nearby medical equipment warehouse. But I imagine it was purely coincidence.

With the popularity of "Walking Dead"/zombies-in-general, why are zombie-threads such a OMGBIGHUGEDEAL? Really, the nice thing about the internet is that it preserves things for posterity to be added to/discussed/reviewed later on. And it's not like we're going to "run out of space" or something. Sometimes people are away from the game for a long period of time, but still have opinions they'd like to share on topics that "the general populace" have moved on from. This is the magic of the internets: it's not limited by time/place/etc. I'm of the opinion that complaining about "necro" threads is about as useful as tilting at windmills. YMMV.
