Here are my Ideas for making our Nemesis Experiences a lot more fun in the game:
1. Nemesis Creation: A point brought up by several people in the past is more freedom in customizing our Nemesis. My Suggestions on Nemesis Creation are:
1, A ? The Personality selection page could be altered to allow further customization in our Nemesis Psyche. Instead of Choosing between the 3 main versions of nemesis add 5 slots that could be filled by several perks (Violent, Insane, Vindictive, gentleman etc.) that would add depth in your Nemesis personality and affect several aspects of his course through the game.
1, B ? Allow the customization of the appearance of Nemesis Minions, there are some really nice minions in the game but I am sure the creativity of the players would bring even more beautiful additions.
1, C ? Another cool addition would be a page about Nemesis Lieutenants, a page where the player would be able to create a series of several super powered Lieutenants all with their own power sets, personality make up (maybe add 3 personality characteristics that would affect their reactions in missions they would appear, for example a cowardly lieutenant could always try and flee or have a chance to surrender if his life bar drops too low, a loyal always stay in the fight till the end, a treacherous could join you after he is down, much like Blackadder from that Nemesis Mission in that Viper lab.) They could also replace some of the generic super villains appearing as henchmen in the Missions
1, D ? Another thing that could be added would be page that would create a goal or aspiration for our Nemesis (World Domination, Vengeance against our hero, becoming rich or just the pleasure of mass homicides :P ) these, combined with the personality characteristics could help determine between a set of random mission story lines that would appear.
1, E ? Randomize the Nemesis?s Lairs depending on his Character. (For example if the nemesis has a scientist perk added he could have a science lab composed of 5 rooms with random lab equipment spawned inside, if it is paired with a mama?s boy perk you could have the entrance be hidden in his mother?s basement with a mom NPC outside telling sth like ?He is so grounded after all this is over? And lastly depending on his goal, the final room could be different, like full of priceless items if he is greedy or punching bugs and dart boards with our heroes picture if he is a vengeance type.
2. Nemesis Missions: Add more Variety on the random Nemesis Missions
2, A ? Add more stuff to the introduction missions of Nemesis you make, the Jail Mission makes sense if you reactivate a nemesis already in prison but for a fresh mission there should be something else depending on a mixture of Personality and goals like a bank robbery or an assassination attempt or even a mission where you fight a random mainstream super villain like while he is doing a crime and your nemesis gets caught in an accident caused by you thus creating him (that would be a great starting mission for a vengeance type nemesis)
2, B ? Customize all the nemesis main/double missions depending on your nemesis Character/goals and give a bigger variety of final missions to him like Kidnaping someone to draw you somewhere (Vengeance type), Pulling a Major Heist (Greedy Type), Holding the planet hostage with a random Doomsday Device (World Domination type) etc.
3. Rewards and Difficulty: Maybe add more difficulty to the missions depending on how many heroes you have in party and pair it with loot of equal worth.
I have more things to say but I guess I dragged this thread long enough, those are my ideas about nemesis in game, hope to see at least a part of it someday and most importantly to be free of any bugs (though the last part is far more unlikely to happen, even more than these ideas being used :P )
this an exelent idea , ive been dreaming with something similar long time ago, it will be cool if they use this ideas in the nemesis sistem it would be great.
