Emblem: Left and Right

So I had a thought.
How about having chest Emblems that sit either on the Left or Right on the character's chest? Like badges almost or something? Maybe reduce them to about 2/3rd's or even a full half of the size of the regular chest Emblems, I think, so that it's not too cluttered looking.
And obviously, they probably wouldn't show up too well if coupled with stuff like Jackets and such. I imagine them as being options for basic Tights and Skins.
But I've seen some neat comic book heroes that have their insignia sitting just off-center on the chests on their costumes, so why not try and get that look going on here?

Yes, this should definitely be an option.

Yes, but I was trying to avoid specific examples, lol.

Yeah, that'd be fantastic. More emblem options in general, really. It amazes me that we don't have an emblem cape yet. Lots of supergroups have a required costume with emblem, and I am *sick* of having to use emblem belt, ugly shoulders, or tights.

Glad to see the idea is appealing, heh.
And yeah, chalupaoffury, kinda wishing we had some Cape Emblems, too.

BUMP, to keep on page one and have more people see it, since it's an idea everyone seems to like so far.

There's actually been a start on this - one of the MCPD Recognition Items is a Foxbat Fan Badge, which gives you a tiny Foxbat symbol on your upper right chest. Just make more emblems like that, and sell 'em in a nice 100-Zen package, like the Weapon and Beast Emblems...

I'd prefer something more akin to the 'Emblem' or 'Power Gem' options, where you can use any of your *existing* emblems to mark a specific spot. Or have certain costume pieces that simply put them in spots like that 'naturally' -- one example being how trenchcoats and some suits worked on CoX, where your emblem was put onto the lapel rather than the center of the chest.

Frankly, one of the main reasons I work them on so many toons. Giant chest-covering emblems just look tacky to me, but a mantle brooch (for the cape wearers) or lapel pin / logo is far more... tasteful, while still letting you show off your allegiance.

I've personally wanted the Police Officer's Badge for a whiiiiiile now. I'd also like it to work with certain pieces in Chest Wear and Jackets. The goofy Sheriff's Star Badge is nice and all, but c'mon, it's such a let down compared to a good ol' police shield.

A smaller version of the "emblem gem" would also be appreciated. Then you could make "emblem badges" in addition to just having an off-center chest emblem.
But yeah, I basically am asking for.... what you are? lol
