Might be a stupid question, but after using Rebirth do you continue to lose 5% health until you die a second time?
Also in theory, is it possible to use regen and self heals to keep going or is the only real way to continue after Rebirth is to rain death upon your enemies?
Is that zombie Advantage, Grave Consequences, worth taking?
I'm kind of putting together a necromancer build and I wanted to know before I take it.
Also, is Reanimater Advantage for Resurrection Serum (in Gadget) any good?
er i didnt bother with the zombie advantage. although if oyu're going with a necromancer build then taking it would definitely fit your "theme" and the added dps, tho lil, is always good. keep in mind that if you take the reanimator advantage for resurrection serum, then it will no longer resurrect allies (which would be beneficial in Gravitar/Therakiel since you can both resurrect yourself and allies). I don't have too much expeirence with either of the advantages but if you're plain pve then yeh it would fit your theme extremely nicely.

Both work, yes. But in practice you typically get up, retreat for a bit, and start healing. Keep in mind this is a "bonus power", in my opinion, not the kind of thing you want to be using all the time. It's more efficient NOT to die. Plus it's got a long cooldown so if you die again after using it... well... Dying is bad, mmk?
The cool thing about this power is that you'll never have to not have 5-stars all the time (arg double-negative). Which turns into a 15% bonus to damage and healing, that just is there with you. That reason, plus the fact I don't like staying dead on my main (it fits her character too), is why she's got that bonus power. In other words, it's like death-insurance. lol
FYI: There are two devices that exist that can allow you to self-resurrect too:
There's a Z-Store device called [Triumphant Recovery], comes in 4 and 10 charge sizes, and it'll allow you to come back fully healed without this downside. The problem is, it costs actual Zen to get (or trade it from somebody else), so it's very pricey.
There was was a crafting blueprint in the game (worth about 2500g), made this item called [Greater Servitor Serum], containing 3 charges each. It was an alternate way to revive, even in PvP matches, by starting out at zero and gaining HP gradually as you get up and start moving. It was also funny because sometimes for other players they wouldn't get the animation of you getting up and instead it would look like your still laying dead on the ground and moving around. Sadly with on the On Alert patch, the materials needed to make it were history. As a result, you don't see this item anymore (and a number of people quit over this, as that Blueprint was crazy rare and expensive). If some serious PvP-ers want to offer me some gold though, I'd be willing to part with a number of those I have saved up in my vault if the price offer is fair (I have I think... about three dozen still).

It will fit the theme you have, but that should be a last consideration for advantage points, if you have extra points to use.
Unless you're planning to die a lot and always play solo (because nobody wants to play with you on a team where you die a lot and are a liability to the team), then you shouldn't PLAN on dying constantly to get the use out of it. It's better to get the Walking Dead power.
You see, advantage points are typically a limited resource. Meaning you won't be able to put them into all your powers; you have to choose & economize.
So...
With that said, the benefit of this advantage is that when you first use Rebirth you get 100% HP, 5% HP loss every second for 20 seconds until you're dead or heal up, and 0% energy. This energy thing might not seem to be an issue when you test it in the powerhouse, but in real combat with teamplay they'll be "in combat" and thus your energy won't come back right away. It's kind of hard to heal up or defend yourself when you just get up and have no energy. So the zombies are your sacrificial protection barrier.
And in PvP they can be annoying because if you Rebirth, spawn zombies, and then go hide with stealth the enemy players are going to target your zombies by mistake. Allowing you to make a clean get away even if being camped. (most of the time)
So it's not a useless advantage, it's just illogical to focus on it. It's a bonus power.

At first I thought the reanimator serum advantage was going to bring them back a zombie with all the same powers of their normal existence. But no, it's just a boring regular zombie, nothing special. So no I don't recommend this for practicality, but it's recommended for the lolz.

And yes, all self heals work, so if you have Regeneration or Life Steal or Devour Essence they will all keep you from dying.
Deliciously nutritious!

Yes. If you don't find some way to heal up, you'll die.
