Black Cryptic Screen...The End?

Hey forum hopefully someone can help me because since I converted back to gold a few weeks ago this game has consistently found a new way to glitch on me. I really want to give Champions a shot because I was one of the people that bought the Boxed game when it first came out before places like Gamestop stopped accepting trade in's for things such as that(you know like things they sell??) I've had this particular problem before with other Cryptic games (STO) where I get to the black Cryptic screen after the launching is up and ready. As soon as it comes to that black screen my mouse pointer turns into a loading icon and freezes up. Sometimes I can Ctrl Tab to get off and task manager it off my computer because just x-ing out at that point is out of the question. So I'm curious why am I paying this monthly bill again and also does anyone have any suggestions other than to repatch I've done that before.

    Check that Gameclient.exe isn't running. This is a crashed version of the game,
    thats sitting in memory blocking a legitimate run.

    Not sure what else it could be.

    this happend to me too... i ran it in safe mode then logged out and it ran regular... weird.
