what kind of archetype you whant to see.

well i would like an hero with mech power. well like suits up an (mobile suit) robot. even in this style thats will be cool^^

    I'm still holding onto my hope for a water-based powerset. We've got the other elements, and even though water covers a LOT of the planet, we can't get a powerset for it. :frown:

    Either a full-on particle projection set, or some kinda crazy cosmic power set, replete with Kirby dots and star bolts.

    Honestly, is it Archetypes we're looking at based on current power sets, or new power sets?

    Based on Current:

    I'd like to see a genuine gunslinger Archetype. Pistols only.

    A ninja AT would be awesome.

    well... this was about archetypes not powersets sooo........ some people seem to have gone off track a bit.. that being said i guess i will follow em lol

    a plant powerset!!!! vines and flowers and leaves and trees and all of that good natural stuff!! all hyped up on pollution and become maneaters mwa ha ha haaaaa!

    and um..... i guess it could be an archetype

    I only play Freeform, but a Gadget Hybrid or Tank would be neat. Like a steam-punk "power armor". (with quotes). The Gadget set has alot going for it.
    For example, a Ranged Damage build using Pulse Beam Rifle, Orbital Canon, Chainsaw Gauntlet or Laser Sword, Targeting Computer, Support Drones. Like a Space Soldier AT or something.

    Saying sites are saying the new Judge Dredd film is rather good I bet you before the year is out CO will have "The Law" AT :D

    A sword and shield AT, but that would requiere a shield (or a sword+shield) powerset.

    check the last Ask Cryptic. They said something along the lines of "we've been discussing Water powers for sometime, but have never been able to get tech for graphics".

    I want a fairy/pixie type powers! Glittery and sparkles! (Direct Magic dmg attacks)

    o.O..... I can just imagine some of the costumes. The females will look like specialty leatherwear models. hmmm a use for Gravitar's cathouse harness.

    I like the plant herder idea. Use some of the local vegetation against your opponents. Not much in the desert.
    The Controller - entire job is to stop people from using abilities. Both PC & NPC. Either by direct counter or stealing. We've got enough abilities to make it .

    I can hear the screams from Duelers already :)

    A cosmic brawler, something along the lines of Captain Mar-vell, or Ms. Marvel/Quasar etc.

    Can shoot blasts, but is also an energy melee brawler type.

    To answer your question...

    I want a druid set. Plants and such. Root entanglements that hold foes in place while dealing DoT. Rainstorms that do a maintained casting calling down a healing rain over a designated area. Adding in existing the primal controllable pets power. That kind of thing.

    Create peashooters, chompers, potato mines, cattails, melons, cobcanons, etc. to kill zombies-- oh wait wrong game. :tongue:
    (we'll see who gets the reference first)

    But seriously, a natural plant power set has been asked about many times.

    lol good point, and we already have a fluids set too (wind is flowing gas, which is a fluid).

    Please fix the Overdrive energy unlock! (Should help promote thematic build diversity!)

    Perhaps a decent Psychic/telepathy build AT? In guardian role or support replacing mind AT. Once of course telepathy and crowd control get a review which may well be in 20NEVER T_T.

    Apart from a real telepathic AT. I'd like to see the Impulse AT with a better PFF and AoE Shielding power and heal instead of a dumb snap to power.

    But since the above requires reviews and buffs which have the same chance as all in game bugs being fixed in the next 20 minutes. I will store my ideas..

    Water would be nice to see I think or some kind of matter/metal manipulator AT.

    also, we have a jedi, we could also get "The bounty hunter" with dual guns, flamethrower, some stuff from the inventor powerset, and a grappling hook!

    They need 1st to create powers to even make the AT.
    Powers include:
    -Make Health Potions Out of Bread and Fish
    -Turn Water Powers To Wine Powers
    -Simply Walk To and In Lemuria
    -Make a Team of 12
    -Self Rez After 3 Days
    -Hand Over Free X-Mas Event Gifts

    A Shapeshifter AT. Start out small, shaping bits of your body into useful stuff like melee weapons, energy projectors, lasso etc. Work your way up to shifting to other body types for specific purposes: for example a statue / gargoyle for heavy hitting, a bear or lion for mauling, some sort of bird for bombing runs.

    Plants were fairly popular as a choice when Cryptic posed this question last year.

    I'd like to see more futuristic versions of the munitions weapons. Would like a flamethrower.

    A Cyberpunk AT/Powerset -Weapons 'built in' to the body. More subtle than the Power Armor, with cybernetic 'contemporary' weapons (machine guns and blades in the forearms, a few PA powers added in for spice) and something different like a railgun, and a 'scan' that 'identifies weak points' and improves your crit chance/rating on your next strike.

    I would like a pure control caster, having a spell for almost every type of hold and the manipulator form. Other than that give her an energy builder, a single target heal, an a pet for solo purposes (the idea being she has to control the battlefield to ensure her pet can clear the mobs itself, otherwise she's toast). She may also get debuffs from the holds' advantages, and most of her choices would be related to whether she wants this hold or that hold. Make her support.

    And give us a broom travel power to go with it. :tongue:

    You're begging for heartache.. BUT assuming this Archetype would also come with a review of Crowd Control.. I'll support it!

    How about a Dark Magic AT that uses Darkness and Ebon Sorcery to summon zombies and stuff?
