Multipurpose weapon pack

Can we have a new weapon pack for multipurpose weapons? i.e. weapons that share the same graphic across multiple weapon types for characters that mix and match weapon styles.
For example, a gunblade model available for handguns and swords, which could work very well with the Specialist AT or other handgun/sword users.
Heavy weapons could have a heavier version, like a lance/rifle.
Another possibility is a whip sword that changes the Iron Lariat/Iron Cyclone animation to show the sword breaking into multiple segments.
Just thought this would be nice to see and fun to build characters around too

This is a great idea.
When using some weapons, especially the double-barelled raygun, i like to consider that it's the one gun with lots of different fire modes. This works for some guns for some powers like the rayguns for assault rifle and machine gun but if i use different guns on a different costume or use some powers it doesn't work.
Now it makes perfect sense to me for many more powers to work with more weapons.
So i'd love if this could be done and also if we could have more existing weapons to become available for other weapon powers.

Our current Gunblades model may not be working as a Single or Dual Blade weapon, but it could work for Fighting Claws.
To make that work, the new emanation point system would be needed first, as you can't use melee weapons for ranged attacks yet.

Edit: If it wasn't for graphical limitations, I could totally see the Katars work for claws and Two-Gun Mojo.
Don't get me wrong, I've never been a huge fan of the concept of a gunblade, but I will sign on for ANYTHING that gets more guns and blades in the game. I'd love to see more fighting claws and ego blades as well.
