Dual travel power device.

Remember back when the developers fixed a fun glitch that let two travel powers work simultaneously? Well what if the glitch was brought back in the form of a BoE device sold for a low price on the Z store or the Q store? Surely people would pay for a feature they missed that did things like let people use super speed and super jump at the same time as well as combine flag speed with heroic flight.

Please turn the popular glitch into a popular feature. Your fans will thank you.

    Rather than make it a device, bring it back as a feature. Bring more purpose to having a second travel power at lvl 35.

    The only prob with this that I have is this,swinging and flight,last time the glitch was around,when flight combined with swinging it formed a TP amalgamation in which it was very hard to get anywhere,however if we were to combine acro and swinging and leave flight alone,I'm fine with combining TPs if flight is left untouched.

    I'd rather them fix the bug when switching travel powers mid flight. But they only fix bugs that benefit players rather than ones that hurt.

    The problem is, once the dual TP bug hit, it essentially proved that 2 TP's working together is possible with current tech.

    (Not very CONTROLLABLE, but possible.)

    Now the issue is to get it all to work together without any bugs :redface:

    Which brings us back to the issue CO has always had...
    ..."Time Management" :wink:

    If the introduction of "vehicle" tech (meaning faster top speed control) helps make this idea a reality, all the better :biggrin:

    Were there any specific reason for that personal attack other than that your opinion differs from mine?

    I don't recall them ever saying that two TPs was impossible and was possible back in beta. It was a design decision, not a tech issue. The only time TP was brought up as a tech issue, that I recall, was in the early days they found that they had to reduce TP speeds because people were moving faster than the servers could register, causing severe lag.

    Yes, i liked that dual TP thing, was so fun. xD

    spoilers, maybe: Actually i did noticed something, my character had swinging for main TP, when i use the Become Ninja(or other become), the swinging is still kinda avaiable. xp

    I like it too. though i think i rather see it as a as a 2 point advantage for travel powers that allow it to be used with certain travel powers.

    Think dual travel powers are best for it to be combined with land based travel powers and jump based travel powers. Such as either acrobatics, tunneling, superspeed, or rolling travel power with and advatnage to be combined with superjump, rocket jump, or swinging travel power.


    I tried the dual travel powers with flying powers they were cool but really buggy. It was funny combining snowball travel power with those phoenix wings . It made it into a graphic glitch where all you can see was just a pair of wings.
