Please add CC Strenth gear to silver champion recognition. Also the Questionite Vendor needs CC REsist and CC strength

(Even if I am the only person dumb enough to use it.. since its broken anyhow)

's because cc is totally useless in this game, in a non-pvp application. Anyone you'd actually want to cc is immune, and it's far easier to just burn down the mobs you can cc.
In game, I am @EvilTaco. Happily killing purple gang members since May 2008.

Doesn't matter.. the gear exists in Common form so it should exist as an attainable uniqe item as well

You can't expect me to agree to grind for gear if you don't give ANY access to gear I want to use.

If there's no Purple Crowd Control Gear then I guess I'll just stop playing Champions Online..

There are so many other areas that take priority over having stats on gear that would be of benefit to a minority of players.

So... guess you're going to stop playing :frown:

The "Gear Revirew" done by Gentleman Crush is so incomplete its not even funny.

By all accounts if this thread didn't exist I doubt people would even know the gear was unavailable.

August 28th is right around the corner. To say "they have had other priorities" is dumb as hell because loot tables are 1) hella easy because the #s are already made for you and 2) There's no way in hell making that ****ty Hi-Pan alert or making these ****ty batman powers should have taken precident over the HUGE amount of reported bugs, exploits and inequalities plaguing the game.

    1. I invite you to re-read my post. I stated there are other priorities. I did not state "they have had other priorities".

    2. You stated that " I doubt people would even know the gear was unavailable" ... lol people don't know its not available because no one is seeking it.

There are few things that anger a human being faster than being called irrelevant.. thanks for that.

I do not believe, Hobo, that you're irrelevant. I also do not believe that Spark's post was implying that. What I believe is that in the grand scheme of CO this game's CC Mechanics have never truly been necessary in the PvE Environment and after a slow and agonizing war of many years Cryptic has all but managed to finally murder the poor gimped corpse of PvP.

If this were an MMO with an actual focus or need in their design(not trinity mechanics but more of a,"Hey, this would be different and actually work," kind of way) for someone like a "charmer", "mezzer", or other form of dedicated CC Support then I believe you wouldn't have this particular issue because it would have occurred to them to put the proper gear in to cover this. Even in it's current state of, IMO, near uselessness I do believe you and others who play this particular role should have an equal chance to grind out your gear just like the rest of us. Of course, I also look at the list of bugs, incomplete features, abandoned projects, and alot of the nonsensical removals that came as the "hidden cost" of "On Alert" and cannot help but think...it's simply not going to happen.

So, Hobo, I applaud you for making this effort and while I agree that it should happen I cannot muster the positivity to believe it will happen...ever. In all honesty, I just made this post to let you know I don't think anyone thinks you're "irrelevant"(well, no more than a certain dev has called us all) but that your request is more "niche" or "fringe."

Yeah, not a huge burst of sunshine, I know, but it was kinda all I had so I went with it. Hope it helped.
