Invisible body parts!

What if you want to make a one armed sword fighter or a robot that doesn't need a head?
Maybe you want the "brain in a jar" head option without the jar? Maybe you want to create a makeshift arm cannon by using a bracer on one arm or are trying to imitate this picture:

Head removal could do so much!

In order to make sure people don't create completely invisible characters, you could add them the same way you already added the see through robotic parts.

Yeah about that, the invisible parts need to just be the limbs and head so as to not break PVP even further.

Actually I'd prefer just invisible limbs, not necessarily something like a single piece floating in mid air,I like the idea of headless people tho, could probably make a headless horseman now, assuming vehicles will have animals too that is

I say they allow us the transparent costume pieces like the ghosts in the Desert have. They already exist in the game.

I was just about to post this. Having a costume unlock the didn't override other accessories for each of the 6 main body parts: Head, Torso, Arms, Hands, Legs, and Feet.

Negative space is used commonly in art; this idea could open up so many new costumes concepts!

There are in fact color controls for Red, Green, Blue, and Alpha levels in costumes inside replay files. Setting the alpha values to lower than 100 results in precisely this.

So yeah, whether it's through giving options for us to make costume parts transparent/translucent, or just giving us straight-up invisible parts, I can get behind this.

How exactly did you do that?
Please give me a play by play of the steps please

He doesn't deny it in his post, he even said he did... His post was demonstrating that the functionality is already in the system, it wouldn't need much to apply it to the costume creator.

All they would need to do is give the skin color option an invisibility mode and the problem with making 100% invisible players would be solved since every costume piece that uses the skin color also requires you to choose another color as well. So while this would result in being able to play as a pair of shorts that fights crime, you would still be able to see the player playing as "the amazing floating briefs".

There is no way that having invisible skin could possibly break the game.

    Transparency is still possible....sorta

Elder worm humidity dome gives this effect. and it's permanent, as long as you keep your energy above 80%.

Down side is, im fairly sure it got removed with On Alert.

Since we got invisible fighterplanes, i don't see a problem getting invisible bodyparts.

From early on I've wanted to make a character with no legs, who simply floats around like the Spectres among the undead factions, or the Genies.

    So, yes. /signed

/signed!! Maybe even combos like tornado legs, where they make the legs technically invisible and surround it with the tornado, like the djinn device
