Hanging up my cape

Heya folks, just stopping in to drop everyone a line. I'm going to be out of the game for a while (in case no one has noticed that I've already been away a lot). I'm going to spend my gaming time working on my other games for a while, probably until Cryptic adds some new non-alert stuff to do here, plus I'm getting married soon.

This isn't a ragequit or a I'm-uninstalling-the-game-and-never-coming-back. This is just me taking a break from playing CO ALL the time. I'll still be stopping in from time to time though and I'll still be on the forums (more so on proboards than here on the official forums as I still find this forum difficult to read and hard on my eyes). I just won't be omnipresent in-game LOL.

    Awww... I remember seeing your videos, and actually those were the ones that made me wanna go gold.

    Hope to see you back soon, definitely a break its always needed, specially if the game doesn't feel fun and/or feels like a job instead.

    I hope this is more of a case of "see ya later" than "good bye"

    Yes, congrats on getting married soon. I'm glad to hear we arent losing you forever, IMO you have contributed alot of good builds to this community.

    Sometimes you just have to step back and take a break. Enjoy.

    Congratulations on your forthcoming nuptials. Thanks for all your advice in the past and I hope your new wife will be patient with your hobby, as many are not understanding :rolleyes: I hope to see you in game some time in the future, but if not I wish you both well.

    Looks like you're switching to the "The Husband" AT. Good Job!

    Oh, at level 9 take "Buy Flowers" passive with the "Romantic Words" advantage. That should last you all the way to endgame and when the final Boss does her "Complain" AoE you shouldn't take any appreciable damage.

    Glad to hear you won't be gone per se. The more the merrier (even if some people occassionally need a bit of roasty-toasty criticism, all part of how a community works)

    Honestly? I've heard of it and I know you're the project lead on it, but I've never used it. I'm a scientist at heart, I like to research stuff. I also am an artist at heart and like to make theme builds that both make lore-based creative sense and are solidly effective in their design purpose. Pre-made "forum builds" have never once appealed to me, I try to avoid them like the plague. But I thank you for you time investment in this community.
