I received this computer as a gift, and would really like to know if I can play Champions Online on it. I don't know gaming terms well, so please help me. Thanks.

heck an old Intel Core2 Duo U7700 @ 1.33GHz is faster, or even a Pentium D Singlecore
Try it but don't have high hopes, since that PC has the performance of maybe a 10 year old Desktop.

Owww poop! I'm so sorry to hear that.
I used to play CO on a laptop with inferior specs to this and it ran alright. I'd say give it a try! I'd start by making sure you have all the latest drivers and by closing all programs you don't need open. Next I'd focus on options that place heavier burdens on systems, like shadows, particle effects, PhysX debris, and power effects. There are a few things you shouldn't turn down, though - like leave lighting on high, and don't drop power FX below medium, or certain effects may not show up, (including some of the subs in Lemuria :mad: ).
Anti-aliasing may actually drop your performance if it's off, depending upon how the graphics card was designed, and I never like using anything other than a screen's native resolution, (which appears to be 1600x900 in this case).

One last tip - GUI elements, like player names, put an unusually high toll on performance, so set your options to only display names if you target or mouse-over a target.
