I was just farming some q-nites for the ff slot when it dawned on me. I was getting the ff slot so I can make my main ff, but to start all over again from 1 to 40. It just seems like too much work. I was thinking if I should just retrain my main as a Savage AT since that's the closest build that I want(minus the howling).
Which do you think is more beneficial? Me, getting the ff slot or getting the retrain token and make my char a Savage AT?

so i would rather take the freeform slot
Mix regular missions and alerts and you'll be 40 in a couple of days.
UNITY gear is bound on equipe, right? So with a couple of alts you get gear in a day or two.
I'm sure its easier and faster to a level 40 char and gear it then grind Q for FF slot.
Another thing. That Savage will always be Savage. With FF you can be Savage one day, Behemoth second day or Mind on third ... no limit. Hey you can be Behemind if you want to.
But if you're buying a FF slot to REPLACE your "main", i say grind away on alerts until your 40

Getting to 40 is really easy. Mixing it up between missions and alerts makes it go by really quick. So I say FF.
So, I can change my build once a day? Is that right?
Sweet! I don't have to delete a char to change it's build!
I just wish I could get pass the limit on refining Q ores.

Only if you either have Globals like crazy, or want to spent big amounts of RL money.
At least if you mean a full retcon. When building freeform its mostly the best to keep
powers you are unsure of at the very top, so that its later not so expensive if you
want to swap them out
