Make Hi-Pan Alert area into new hideout

I'm thinking it'd be awesome to retool the realm from the new Hi-Pan alert into a 'mystic realm' hideout. For some variety, make it able to change the structures and sky and one could have a similar Qliphothic hideout on floating rocks.

I think it'd be a great addition to the hideouts and given that the assets already exist, I'd think it'd be a little easier than constructing from scratch.

    Yeah .. would be nice, but i doubt we get anything new or even changes on existing hideouts
    anymore, since they took away Tumerboy from CO and sent him to STO :frown:

    I doubt they'll leave those resources unusued.
    Maybe... A China-themed Zone in the deep, deep future, filled with pandas because everyone knows that China=Pandas, and also a joke towards a certain other MMO's recent expansion?

    best to be used as a zone, we need something to fill the gaps around 20-30 so....perfect way to do that.

    I'll take it as a social instance. Have a portal accessible at the back of the Fighting Dojo when that instance comes back, perhaps triggered by the use of a new formal_bow emote used near the picture of the dojo founder. :)

    I wouldn't mind a few missions there as well.

    It'd be kind of cool if they made it into a special alert where you fight Gold and Iron, from that Westside mission - you could fight 1 boss on the first platform, another on the second, then make the door on the temple at the second platform interactable and have it lead to the inside of the old fighting store, where you fight both bosses in the dojo.

    I'd be more keen if it was something akin to a super group headquarter, something to work for.
    Champions Online player since September of 2008, forumite since February of 2008.

    Oh wow, I wasn't the only one! It's a really beautiful instance. I think the realm as a whole can be turned into all of the above. Make a comic series to fully develop into the battle or Clestial Dragon, explain of what some of it means and what have you. Then have that lead into a zone, or a mini-zone even, with some sort of reoccurence or mishap related to the CS. Top off as a hideout/headquarter, although I would want the same style, not the actual map itself. Not that the map itself is bad but I want it to keep some of its uniqueness. Although everything I've listed above may or may not strip it of that...
    I say stuff and I say things, sometimes together but only when I'm feeling adventurous.

    Don't doubt that for a second, they leave all kinds of resources unused.

    Sometimes it's to preserve the uniqueness of a zone, event or character.

    Sometimes.. they just forget.

    As much as I miss Tummerboy, I don't think Cryptic needs him to do it. :redface:

    Also, I think the alert should be a recurring one, every few weeks. It would be a shame if such a beautiful map was made and used only for one short event in the game's lifetime.
