Cosmic Powerset Suggestion

The What?
It's simple, really. A Cosmic Powerset that would fit the need for powers such as Energy and Matter Manipulation originating from classic super-heroic fiction. More than one Super Hero(es) is the master of an undefined sort of energy, specifically speaking the classic Kirby Dot effect (some details can be found here). The travel power known as Power Flight is a glimpse from that same effect and a possible hint of a future powerset.
The Why?
Cosmic-powered super-heroes, most often connected with the Space genre, have been around for long in the comics. Quintessential characters of this sort include the likes of the Silver Surfer and DC's New Gods franchise (from which Darkseid is the most popular) both examples being creations of Kirby's.
Merely from the significance of such characters and their place in comic book culture makes a powerset inspired by them a prime candidate for future implementation in the game. Still, to further note their existing presence in the game we can look to the "recent" travel power Power Flight and the latest UNTIL Report which hints at both a Moon Battleground and the existence of an alternate leveling path centered around the Star*Guard (which may or may not fit the core concept in this suggestion).
Alongside with this data, we also have an existing sourcebook (Galactic Champions) which tackles like-minded concerns and high-powered superheroing. Besides you really want to say you don't want a character akin to the likes of Nova? (And this not mentioning the popularity the genre may gain with the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie).

I'd like to set one simple fact: the "Cosmic" in the name has little to no relevance beyond thematic purposes, it's meant to be a powerset like all others and is not meant for any god-modders in role-playing purposes or the like. I avoided posting any example powers or the like because I didn't want people to go against the suggestions themselves but not the overall theme. I can't deny the right for anyone to come here and not approve of the suggestion or concept (but please be constructive), but I genuinely consider this potential powerset a completely unique entity when compared to existing ones, therefore it cannot be simulated to a satisfying degree (in my opinion, feel free to post otherwise).
As with any other post, feel free to reply, discuss and the like.
