Respec specializations

Ok, they broke that when they released it, so it only cost 1L to reset your specialization tree.

Then they broke it again when they tried to fix it, so now it cost you 30-40G, even if you hadn't left the Power House.

Now they've broken it YET AGAIN. Twice, even. They have added the Reset Free button, but it resets for free even after you've left the Power House. However, it doesn't actually reset anything but the points. Now, we can't choose the specialization. I'm stuck on Guardian for my tank, and it doesn't give me the option to change it.

Really guys, can we get this right?

If I reset the spec tree, I should be free to choose different specializations.
If I leave the Power House, it should lock in the chosen tree, so it will cost me to reset it again.
If I do not leave the Power House, I should be free to reset and reselect everything.

I can't believe this problem has drawn so little attention...

My ranged-DPS Avenger is _still_ stuck with the arbiter tree and no way of changing it. Please fix this! I really don't need 5% additional melee-damage while I fly around blasting things with lightning.

    (yes it's a free-form character)

If you want to rechoose your specs, hit Reset Free then hit Reset All, pay your 50G.

    Temporary workaround:
    1. Hit Reset Free
    2. Take your primary superstat specs
    3. Put 1 point in role tree
    4. Cancel that point
    5. Rinse and repeat
    6. ????
    7. PROFIT!

    *facepalm*

Ok, for some reason I never managed to notice that the 'reset free' button transforms into a
'reset all' button after you hit it. The resource cost seems rather hefty, but I won't complain any since I'm no longer stuck with the arbiter tree. Perhaps I didn't see this before because I'm rather religious about depositing resources into my shared-account bank and don't tend to carry enough for the button to light up or whatever.

Many thanks for revealing this incredibly stupid oversight to me.

No worries. Took me a bit to figure out the new retcon system too.

And yeah I thought the cost was a bit rough too, but between Grab Alerts and the increased popularity of NemCon, money seems easy enough to come by these days.

I had the same face palm moment. I guess I was expecting it to work differently. I'm satisfied with the way it works now. I like that I can repel within the same trees for free, and think 50g is a fair price for a full stat and spec retcon.
