Launcher Update Problem

hi, when ever i try to run champions online a little window pops up saying : "Trying to update the Launcher.
please be patient, Tried connecting 1/2 times."

then another windows pops up saying: "Unable to establish connectiong to patch server. please check your internet connection. if problems persist, please contact Tehnoical Support"

my internet connection is fine .. i remember playing champions online while downloading music and stuff.. now it wont even update the laucher ! does anyone know how to fix this ?:confused:

    Try backing up your launcher, then replace it with the one posted in the above thread. The last one posted is the most current.

    It still gives me the SAME ERROR MESSAGE

    Thanks for those Mer.
    I love how consistent this problem is..and how it doesnt seem to get fixed. Every 2-3 weeks for me. Really makes me feel like playing the game. Not.

    I love how it's always for trivial and pathetic updates. Like when i had to wait a whole damn week of launcher failures simply because they added a collection agent next to the entrance of each zone. Something that's not even worth doing an entire update for but also crashes laucnhers for people. And they still do this meager stuff and won't fix the damn launcher issue

    Having this problem now out of the blue... Played last night no problem. This morning can't get to patcher.

    I can't connect either, i played CO just yesterday and now out of the blue it is having connection issues, it's not just the launcher as i bypassed it and went straight to the gameclient using the .exe file and it still wouldn't connect. Looks like some lemurians live another day due to this

    I zoned this morning and got disconnected. When I tried to log back in I had this problem. I Googled and looked over several threads about this problem dating back for a couple of years and tried everything suggested. I was able to get back in for about 5 minutes, zoned, and now I can't get back in at all. Everything was working fine otherwise until this morning and no other problems on my end with any other programs or connectivity.
    Remembering Hanlon's Razor can save one a lot on aspirines.

    I could play earlier today now its back to the same old story again. I'll admit this is frustrating. I just hope they find asolution soon. before this I've never had any problems with running the game.

    i hope thet tell us what is going on soon also.

    I have played for years, and never had this problem. Now, today, out of the blue, it will not connect to the launcher.

    The launcher tries to connect the times out with a buzzing noise, and I get,

    "Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your Internet connection. If problems persist, please contact Technical Support."

    My only problem is getting the launcher to maximize, I've had to do a Ctrl+Alt+Del and then hit Max to see the launcher and click on Maximize, What's going on Cryptic!?!
