Origin of Mega-Terak

I've looked around the web and can't find anything definitive on this, so I'll ask here: just where did Mega-Terak come from?

The earliest references I've seen say it was used by the Qularr in their 1965 invasion of Tokyo, so I'm assuming they built it and it's been rebuilt and controlled by various groups over the years, until returning to Qularr control in the current continuity.

    The only information Sloth can think of is from the wiki on this page. It notes that Mega-Terak was just one of the many weapons the Qulaar released in their attacks.

    This is correct. Mega-Terak was one of the various monster-like creatures and weapons released by the Qularr during their first appearance/invasion on Earth in 1965.
