EEEk well I know where to go everywhere in game without a map now.

I don't know if I could beat anyone to say where things are though

    This would be me ....

    'Where's Ren Centre mate ?'
'It's just over there,' points. 'Them big tall metal type things with lights on. If you find yourself up to your neck in water, you've gone too far.'

Actually a Cryptic set of clues would be more fun than straight clues.

Example: "If cold hearts you seek you seek like me, one flies tween frozen stream and lime-topped tree"

Answer: Ice Demons in Lynx's Fold.

I think more people would be bound to attend these if there was SOME sort of reward, even if it was small.

Like until tokens, gold, an item, etc.

They're still fun though, thank you for doing them.

What about UTC? COORDINATED UNIVERSAL time?

If I have to learn US timezones to play a game, I'm getting angry.
In fact, I started asking for this when I bought CO, and it was pre-release.

California is currently on PDT = GMT -7
UK is currently on BST = GMT +1
Europe is on CEST = GMT +2

So add 8 hours for BST, 9 hours CEST

    11am PDT = 19:00 BST, 20:00 CEST
    4pm PDT = 00:00 BST, 01:00 CEST (October 14th)

    References: PDT, BST and CEST
    GMT = UTC

Thanks a lot, Valania, but I still think it'd be cool if official annoucements would provide these informations.

Meh, if everything was told whit a spoon we never learn anything.
Dont expect the gaming business to learn those things fast, two decades of gaming and i have seen very little improvement in the "thinking beyond US" mindsets.

and well, there are just less good employee conditions and more gamers over there so its unlikely to change anytime soon.

( I mention employee conditions as the central location of a gaming company does dictate the way other continents are seen, a Russian or Europe based company will always incl European timing even if the player base is mainly from the US. )

    Woo! Joint Second!

And to all those going 'WTF is PST' I quickly learnt PST +8 = UK time... and then EST +5 = UK time (except when DST changes... US changes earlier than UK...)

Just use servertime, anyone can check that one in-game and it's the same everywhere.

Thanks a lot everyone for these informations but still it'd be nice if official announcements included different time zones indications.

I don't suppose it is possible to post the questions that were asked here, without the answers, and a spoilered post after in black text with the answers, just for fun?

Not everyone could be in-game. :D
