Winter Event
For the next 4 weeks this event will be running.
  • Updated event to use account currencies.
  • Added Cryogenic Belt and Crystal Crown costumes to the event store.
  • Added Winter Snow auras to the event store.
  • Added Toy Crown and Holly costumes as possible drops from Holiday Stockings.
  • Added Welcoming Bow emote as a possible drop from Holiday stockings.
  • Added new perk for logging in during the winter event.
  • Added new perk for collecting all of the Cryogenic costumes.
  • Added more presents around the Renaissance Center.
  • Increased the drop rate of Winter Charms.
  • Reduced the cooldown of presents.

Reprint Event
For the next 2 weeks this event will be running.
  • Updated event to use account currencies.
  • This event now uses Reprint Vouchers for currency.
  • Any enemy ingame can drop this currency.
  • Enemies can now also drop event reward packs (like Halloween Treat bags).
  • Completing any open mission in a zone will grant 15 tokens. This is limited to 3 times a day per character. Cosmic open missions do not drop tokens.
  • Added a new mission to the Reprint contact that grants a Reprint Premium Voucher. This can be used to either exchange for additional Reprint Vouchers or used to purchase limited items featured in the events this year.

ZEN Store
For the duration of the Winter event, you can claim a free promo pack in the ZEN store.

The Arctic Keypack will be available for the duration of the event:
  • Cost: 900 ZEN
  • 10x Cosmic Keys of Power
  • 1x Cryogenic Armor costume

Cosmics
  • Fixed an issue where the hounds could get stuck in a combat loop and follow players well beyond their leash limit.
  • Made some adjustments to how the hounds return to their starting positions if they leave their guarding range. There is still an ongoing issue where a hound may wander to a previous target, and reset again, but this should happen less often now. There will be a full fix in a later update.

Auras
  • Fixed an issue where the Snowflake auras hue was offset.

Currencies
  • Event currencies for this year that have not expired after their stated time have been expired.

Misc
  • Fixed various issues where the game could crash during fights with large amounts of players present.

Build Swapping
When build swapping, device cooldowns will now follow these rules:
  • Any devices that are not shared between the builds will go on full cooldown, as if they were just equipped to the tray.
  • Devices that are shared between the builds will retain whatever cooldown they were on when the swap occurred. If the amount of cooldown reduction is different between the builds, this value will adjust accordingly. If the device states that only one can be equipped, any device of the same name will also share this cooldown.
  • Toggle devices shared between the builds will remain toggled on.

Devices
  • Reduced Veteran reward consumable device cooldown to 180 seconds (from 600).
  • Veteran devices no longer place consumable devices on cooldown. (They still place other Veteran devices on cooldown).
  • Reduced many vanity device cooldowns to 3 seconds (from 10).
  • Reduced many mission related device cooldowns.
  • Reduced out-of-combat sidekick cooldown time to 60 seconds. (In-combat is still 300).
  • Reduced out-of-combat consumables cooldown time to 60 seconds. (In-combat is still 90).

Omega-Destroid Stomp
  • Reduced base damage. Damage is now considered ranged damage (from no typing).
  • Increased activation time to 1 second (from 0.5).
  • Changed knockback effect to knock up.
  • Reduced affected targets to 5 (from 10).
  • Reduced recharge time to 60 seconds (from 600).

Alien Crystal
  • Reduced cooldown to 180 seconds (from 300).
  • Lowered activation time to 1.67 (from 1.75).

Plasmite
  • Lowered the delay on Plasmite to 10 seconds (from 20).

Blood of Corruption
  • Fixed an issue where this device rarely triggered its effects.

Powers
All players have received a free respec.

Confuse
  • Updated all instances of powers that use confuse to state that it also affects Enforcers. This has always been the case, but no tooltips stated this.

Corrupt
  • This effect can now affect Enforcers.

Life Essence
  • Fixed an issue where Infernal Bond was not flagged as a Supernatural ability.

Since Omega Destroid Stomp is considered Ranged, I hope that information goes into the description. As it should be in all devices where some ambiguity is perceived. Such as Invocation of the Eclipse device. It simply would be helpful to have ranged or melee or otherwise somewhere in the description, at least where the players aren't sure because it isn't a PVD.

You're not gonna listen anyway but -
I'm 100% against this but if you're really set on doing this-

If you're doing this as a countermeasure against having more than the available device slots, a suggestion: Make this only take effect in combat. It'd still suck, especially for "Oh **** I need to swap" moments, but it'll suck less if you have different builds with different device loadouts for different situations that you pre-swap into.

One major complaint I've seen consistently when this change went up on live was waiting for vehicle cooldowns just for getting from point A to point B. I'd assume a lot of us players have this - a specific build slot only used for travel, with teleporters and vehicles in slot. Making things only go on cooldown during combat avoids this problem.

I'd also think a number of players also have a build slot dedicated for "fun" or other non-combat shenanigans. Keeping the cooldown to happen only during combat means that we can mess around with those devices while waiting for content to start and would be able to switch to a combat device loadout without any downtime.

So much this. Would have been 100% more player friendly.

    Adding to this point.

Right now with your already have induced more difficulty for ccing kigatilik to have to take more damage adding with dog guaranteed damage.
This device cooldown if they are not equipped between build would makes it even harder. Since many people been using Experimental Life Injections upon fight initiation with some shield devices and healing devices which all already ate up devices slott on a full build. And after initiation complete people normally replace those devices with Revenancy or Psionic Accelerator or something for on going kiga fight. Which they are all will be now imposed by a cooldown….

I guess we have to adjust and waste our freeform and power slot to get masterful dodge and bionic shield to deal with this difficulty that this changes and previous cosmic tweaks added…

And unlike previous reaper embrace tweak we never got any compensation like gear changes or free unslotting mods!

    Good development!

Completing any open mission in a zone will grant 15 tokens. This is limited to 3 times a day per character. Cosmic open missions do not drop tokens.

quite a few open missions i've tested do not grant 15 tokens. please clarify which ones are supposed to. prison break, raptor rush, hang em high, undead on arrival are oms and do not work. the wording makes it sound like all om do, when it is not the case.

It'll be nice not scrambling to scrape together currency on a specific character during reprint. This seems like a much more sanity-preserving approach.

    Reprint Event:
On week two, please consider adding a 15x3 or 35x1 reprint voucher drop to Lairs. More variety of things to do.

Therakiel Event (even though it's over):
Got my hands on Therakiel's Blade. Unlike Therakiel's Dissonance and Brilliant Cleave, this device ignores all weapon costume options and color change options. It's also using the Martial Weapons-sized Therakiel's Sword despite the updated 15' radius, which is drastically smaller than HW 15' range. It looks quite silly. Please hook this up to colors and Heavy Weapons selections so it can visually match its arc of effect.

    Devices:
As far as the Devices change go, Consumable devices already had a working cross-device shared cooldown as a category when changing builds. Now switching builds will eat the CD on your consumables regardless of whether it on CD in the prior build, instead of continuing the count.

i have also noticed this... i've repeated several open missions and it's all over the place with rewards... some places i got 4, some 15, some nothing (i repeat, i've done the same open missions with varying character and varying results)... basically it's broken.

great barrier grief ... unable to enter and destroy generato door controls on random locations, but mission triggers next phase without advancing the mission (inevitable fail)

Hey all, we're investigating the zone crashes, and tomorrow we will have a fix for the open missions not granting rewards.

All of them are set up to grant rewards, however, some are using an old ranking system where different rewards are given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th+ place. Currently a handful of them are only granting the standard rewards to 4th+ place. This will be fixed tomorrow.

What about non sidekick pet type items. Can we get those out-of-combat cooldowns reduced as well?

    for example
    • Dr Destroyers Head
    • Reprogrammed Destroid Gun Drone
    • Portable Robot Factory
    • Bone Whistle
    • Skull of the Necromancer
    • Revenant of Firefight
    • Qularr Hive Seed
    • Call up a * gang war
    • Viper Dimensional Crystal
    And many others

Sidekicks still with a 5 min cooldown
    • Override
    • Chaos Swarm
    • Freddy
    • David Antares
    • Evil Eye
    • Foxbat Stunt double
    • Misfit toys
    • Indy Kid
    • Chaos Imp
    • Jade
    • Rex
    • Toh-Kah
    • L1l-Dogg13
    • Holiday Henchman
I haven't found a sidekick that has the 1 min out of combat cooldown actually. Or is this supposed to apply to non-loyal (ie single use) sidekicks only?

How about Backup Devices, can they get a reduced out of combat cooldown as well?

Crystal aura as a special material (like the Ice, Ghost/Shadow etc with all body parts, eyes, eyebrows and hair at the Q-Store), please

Thanks for fixing Life Essence's Infernal Bond flag.

The reprint event changes is pretty interesting. Makes it possible to get one missed event premium costume. The way to get the voucher currency encourages OM any farming, too.

I'm not sure I like the change to devices. It makes swapping to a build that has a sidekick frustrating, especially since the 5 minute out of combat cooldown isn't working on a great deal of them. Also vehicles take too long to equip and use. Devices staying toggled while swapping is useful at least.
