The first HW build seems to be mostly fine. The 2nd one may have some energy issues, since not much is going to proc Ionic Reverb in it. If you wanted to more fully embrace mixing Elec w/ HW, you could add in Sparkstorm's toggle adv and Ball Lit and have them run in the background while throwing in w/e HW attacks you like. For example:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)

Level 18: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Level 6: Enrage
Level 8: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3, Silent Running)

    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)

    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Keeps Ball Lit and Sparkstorm up while using charges of Annihilate for single-target and charges of Arc of Ruin for AoE (taps of Arc can also debuff for Annihilate). As long as you keep Ball Lit and Sparkstorm up you should have plenty of energy to do w/e ya want.

Other slotted dps passives that could work well here are Stormbringer, WotW, and Unstoppable.

:) How about these two builds? First is a flexible healer, I initially wanted to use telekinetic burst for AOE but its description showed it will not proc telepathic reverberation so I used mental Storm instead and added the debuff specs. For the second one, I am redesigning a pet build and will alternate between the ST and AOE attack to proc the EU and Form respectively. I had initially used Avalanche with adv. as the AOE and would have preferred to continue to use it but it has energy issues in a pet build, Tried to streamline it and this was what I came up with.

Well, I think having all four Sorc passives as options is a bit overkill for the 1st build. I may drop at least one and maybe replace it w/ something like Iniquity so you have a long-range ST heal (you could also replace it w/ another AoE attack since MStorm is on a cd, or Ego Sleep if you want to use Spec-related debuffs more, or MLeech for extra background healing- it's up to you).

The 2nd build could work as stated. If you still wanted to try to use Avalanche in the 2nd build, then you could change the basic powers to Ice and switch the stats a bit. For instance:

Arcanis Storm - Freeform (Any / Multiple)
    v3.45:38

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Presence (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Endurance (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Midnight (Dex: 10, Int: 8, Pre: 10, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
    Level 9: Investigator (Int: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Negotiator (Int: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Lasting Impression (Pre: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Diplomatic (Int: 5, Pre: 5)
    Level 21: Prodigy (Pre: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Ice Shards
Level 1: Ice Blast (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 6: Icy Embrace
Level 8: Aura of Ebon Destruction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Concentration
Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Reverence)
Level 17: Eldritch Shield (Rank 2)
    Level 20: Avalanche (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 23: Thundering Return
Level 26: Air Elemental (Rank 2)
Level 29: Arctic Beast (Rank 2)
Level 32: Command Animals (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Attack Toys (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 38: Ritual of Radiant Summoning (Rank 2, Unbound Ritual)
    Adv. Points: 36/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6: Athletics (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 35: Jet Pack

    Specializations
    Presence: Selfless Ally (2/2)
    Presence: Grandeur (3/3)
    Presence: Moment of Glory (3/3)
    Presence: Force of Will (2/2)
    Sentinel: Eternal Spring (2/2)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (3/3)
    Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
    Sentinel: Moment of Need (2/3)
    Commander: Evasive Action (1/2)
    Commander: Rapid Response (2/2)
    Commander: Create An Opening (2/2)
    Commander: Multitasker (3/3)
    Commander: Durable (1/3)
    Commander: Savage (1/3)
    Mastery: Commander Mastery (1/1)

Gears mostly for Int, w/ some End and Pres. Cost discount on gear could also help, though having to energy build periodically for Avalanche isn't a big deal either, as long as it's not being done too frequently.

If you wanted to stick w/ a Pres-focused setup using Shadow Manifest, then you could also just switch to using Shadow Blast and SEmbrace as your main attacks (using SReverb and perhaps changing Int SS for Rec SS).

Thank you for the edit and ideas. Could Mental Leech proc the EU? So many options to choose from. Will try them all, though I am leaning toward the Avalanche build. :)

If you mean Mental Leech and TP Reverb then yea, MLeech can proc that EU, provided the target is Held or has Disorient on it.

Yes, that was exactly what I meant. Thanks. Are there any other AoE Mentalist powers that could proc telepathic reverb? Or could I use something like Vengeance with redemption denied to proc telepathic reverb, say on the second use of the power?
As for the electric HW build, I decided to use Stormbreaker as passive. Made the first three powers electric so I could take the passive at fourth slot, rest of the build is following your specs.
Flow, could you take a look at these two SB builds? One is build around using maintaining ST, AoE and refreshing bleed and shredded. The other is build around setting up and consuming shredded and bleeds like Jack Fool. Would it be better to just get Reaper’s Embrace with No Mercy?

Afaik, only dmg from Telepathy powers can proc TP Reverb. The EU does last for 6 seconds after a proc, though, so you can potentially use other things in between procs, provided they aren't giving you energy issues.

Yea, the two good approaches to SB are either the normal Rupture build (like the 2nd build) or the newer one centered on Relentless Pursuit (like the 1st). The latter takes a ton of energy, though, so you prob want Dragon attack for a source of Rush in the 1st build. Consuming Shredded w/ TBite after using R3 REmbrace to consume Bleeds can be more dmg, but it does take a good deal of extra energy to use, so it will depend a bit on how smooth the rotation normally is (and TB is obv not an SB power, so it also has to be okay for the theme). I would also consider getting some points in Vind's Mass Destruction (instead of Rush of Battle)- esp for the 2nd build since the combo (RCaress) will be used more, and that counts as AoE. Also, although the Kunai can refresh both debuffs, it does have to be charged for it- a faster alternative is to get the same refresh advs on Scything Blade, which can work w/ just a tap.

A normal AO like Intensity can be dropped if you find that you want another power for utility or w/e (though you can also keep the AO if you don't want anything else). Also, Str as an SSS in the 2nd build isn't adding that much extra dmg (due to the reduced scaling on its innate melee bonus and the general dmg DR), so you could potentially replace it (if keeping Dex PSS). I may also use Unstoppable or WotW over NW for the dps passive, unless you also wanted to use NW's stealth.

I see, so Telepathy was designed that way. Thanks for all the good ideas. Have added Dragon kick with rush, used Scything blade w/ adv. thanks for suggesting this, I didn’t know it was an alternative. Also took mass destructions and WotW with the latter build and changed Str to Con. Am not sure what else to take so I too an AO as one of the last choices. Have made all the edits below.

Okay, the edits seem fine overall. One other thing is that you could do is get Deflect as the block on the 2nd build, since that setup has to stack bleeds more often, but that's also a pretty minor thing you can ignore if you like the visuals (or other effects) of Antagonize for that build. The AOs you can keep as the last power/advs trained, and then if you want something else down the line (like an Ult or a threat wipe, or another heal or CC power) then you can more easily retrain into that instead.

Hi, I'd like to try out the new force powers. First is my attempt at a Kinetic Manipulation FC build, I don't have any build with KM so I'm trying it out. Second, could use some help with making a shield-mechanics build using IDF. This is the DPS build.

    PSS-Int
    SSS-Con
    SSS-End

    Forcebolts
    Kinetic Manipulation-R3
    Impact Force
    Force Control
    Force shield-R3
    Force Cascade-R2, Focus point
    Redirected Force-R3, hold the line
    Force Detonation-Recharge
    Resurgence-R2
    Thundering Return
    Crushing Wave-R3, Disrupting Force
    Force Blast-R3
    Lock and Load

    Int, Avenger, Vindicator Specs

Okay, here's a basic Force dps build that I would suggest as a starting point:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Ranged Damage)
    v3.45:38

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Ego (Primary)
    Level 10: Endurance (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Scourge (Con: 10, Ego: 10, Rec: 10, End: 8)
    Level 6: Worldly (Ego: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 9: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Daredevil (Ego: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Ascetic (Con: 5, Ego: 5)
Level 21: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Force Bolts
Level 1: Force Blast (Rank 2, Demolishing Blast)
Level 6: Kinetic Manipulation (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 8: Chilled Form
Level 11: Crushing Wave (Rank 2, Disruptive Force, Barrier)
    Level 14: Impact Force
    Level 17: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 20: Singularity Bomb (Rank 2)
Level 23: Force Cascade (Rank 2, Focus Point)
Level 26: Force Shield (Rank 2)
    Level 29: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 32:
    Level 35:
    Level 38:
    Adv. Points: 27/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Ego: Force of Will (2/2)
    Ego: Insight (3/3)
    Ego: Follow Through (3/3)
    Ego: Sixth Sense (2/3)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (3/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (2/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Mastery: Ego Mastery (1/1)

The last few powers can be w/e ya want.

For single-targets, charges FBlast to apply/refresh Demolish, and otherwise uses charged FC as its main attack. For AoE, you can use Crushing Wave as your main attack, while Singularity Bomb can also help AoE and also group up enemies. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some End and Con.

Other SS setups (including Int-based ones if you switch Chilled Form w/ Concentration, or End-based ones if you switch to Force Control) are also possible here.

    --

For a Force(field) Support build, here's one you could try:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Support)
    v3.45:38

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Presence (Primary)
    Level 10: Endurance (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Witch (Con: 10, Int: 8, Pre: 10, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
    Level 9: Prodigy (Pre: 5, End: 5)
Level 12: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
Level 18: Lasting Impression (Pre: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 21: Shrug It Off (Con: 5, Pre: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Force Bolts
Level 1: Force Blast (Demolishing Blast, Shield Generator)
Level 6: Inertial Dampening Field (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 8: Vital Shielding
Level 11: Crushing Wave (Rank 2, Entropy Field)
    Level 14: Power Barrier
Level 17: Protection Field (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Arcane Vitality (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Force Eruption (Field Expulsion)
Level 26: Force Cascade (Focus Point, Field Inversion)
Level 29: Redemption (Rank 2, Salvation)
Level 32: Shield Restoration (Entropy Field)
    Level 35:
    Level 38: Fiery Embrace
    Adv. Points: 33/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Presence: Repurpose (3/3)
    Presence: Selfless Ally (2/2)
    Presence: Moment of Glory (3/3)
    Presence: Force of Will (2/2)
    Sentinel: Eternal Spring (1/2)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (3/3)
    Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
    Sentinel: Moment of Need (2/3)
    Sentinel: Genesis (1/2)
    Sentry: Fortified Gear (2/3)
    Sentry: Precise (3/3)
    Sentry: Sentry Aura (3/3)
    Sentry: Fortify (2/2)
    Mastery: Presence Mastery (1/1)

The open power can be w/e.

You have strong single-target shielding w/ PField, and you can detonate a PF on yourself via charging Force Eruption to apply the shield in an AoE around you instead. You also have Shield Restoration and rezes to help allies with. For dps, you can alternate between charged FBlast and charged FC for single-targets and use Crushing Wave as your main AoE attack. I also kept a normal heal in there (here, Arcane Vit, but it could be any of them) just so you can still spot heal as needed, and in between all the shielding. Overseer spec could also work pretty well (prob in place of Sentry here). Gears mostly for End, w/ some Pres and Con.

Hello. The latest powers pass made a lot to changes to several of my toons.I have a lot of Intelligence primary character who got a retcon, several of them uses MSA or pulse beam rifle which were removed from the build. What is the best default setting for Int spec? One good thing is Int can have more energy without the need to add Rec. Please kindly help me update my builds, starting with a Gadgeteering pet build. It’s design to be able to heal passively and debuff if ever he could not use the pets.

The build doesn't have to change much for the Support/pet aspect, unless you want it to become more of an actual healer, rather than a pet build w/ some passive heals. If the pet aspect is still the main draw for it, then you can keep it mostly as is, though if using a charged paralyze like Taser Arrow then I may get Sentinel Mastery (could also switch to Pres PSS and get Vulnerability then, to have another debuff). Could also change Taser Arrow to a cd-based paralyze, to also help proc MSA, though that's up to you. I may also change Mini Mines to Medical Arrow, since it's a nice cd for support builds using Compassion w/ its Illum adv:

    Commander: Multitasker (3/3)
    Commander: Durable (1/3)
    Commander: Savage (1/3)
    Mastery: Sentinel Mastery (1/1)

Keep up Med Arrow for MSA, the healing rune, and Illum. Burst Ray can be your main AoE attack (don't charge it past 1.5 sec if you don't want to deal w/ its Overcharge mechanic), while taps of Exp Blaster can be your main single-target attack. Binding Shot can be used to put up debuffs on the target (Vuln, Wither, Sent Mastery), and you can keep your pets up otherwise (in content where they are fine). Gears mostly for Pres, w/ some Int and Con.

Thanks Flow. I like your build. The 20% debuff is definitely better, I forgot about sentinel mastery. Could I take pulse beam rifle instead of experimental blaster? Will it be feasible for a pet build?

I am focusing on pet builds at the moment, will be requesting a gedgeteering healer later.. Have another one below. This is an Ice AoED pet build with debuff. I also followed your specs for this build. I would have liked more crits for this build, made Pre PSS with moment of glory for that as it seem difficult to fit in Dex as a SS.

Yea, considering PBR's new cost, it can be fine to instead take Exp Blaster for the pet build (though you could try using AoPM or AoAC to make PBR more affordable that way), and maybe save PBR for a more standard ranged dps build. But it is up to you, ultimately.

Avalanche will indeed be expensive w/ the pets out, but it is also pretty high base dps and is just used for AoE, so it could still be okay if you like it enough (gear can also help, ofc). That build may also have issues procing Compassion, but I suppose using Conviction often enough in combat can work w/ it. If you have the ability to do so, you can also just run the build in the PH/PTS with the gear you want, and see how it could perform in practice before cementing it (also, assuming this build is mostly for solo and/or casual stuff w/ the Hybrid aura use and pets).

Ok, I'll stick with Exp blaster then and save PBR for another build. I like Avalanche over frost breath and snow storm. That's right, the hybrid is for solo stuff, will be in support in a group. Good point on proc'ing compassion, the sentinel spec was changed to active heals, right? Will changing conviction to medical arrow with illuminate be enough, or would it be better to have another group heals? Or perhaps it would just be easier to use concentration instead.

You can still proc Compassion w/ Conviction (though not always if you're not healing enough_any health, but the AoE adv w/ pets makes that easier to fulfill in combat), but yea most passive aura-style heals were changed to not proc it. Mend from Illum's debuff version does still proc it (which can be nice, since that works when just dps'ing stuff w/ Illum on it- similar thing w/ Sentinel Mastery since the debuffed target is the 'source' of the heal), though it's not always needed depending on the other powers you have/use. From some brief testing, it seems like Selfless Ally from Pres PSS can also proc Compassion, and that can also come from just passive aura healing of pets- so you may already be set for that in this build. Concentration could also ofc work as the toggle/form (and could make the build more dps-focused, depending on gear), though that could mean diluting your Pres since Conc scales w/ Int (or Ego) instead. Again, in the end it's up to you, but there's multiple ways the build could work out.

Thanks for the comment and clarification. Good to know that build may stay as is. I do have access to pts. will play around with the different options eventually and see how it goes. Here are a couple of new builds I am contemplating, from similar base build but different powers. If ever, the ST and AoE are energy intensive, I am open to other powerset or options that cost less energy..

The 1st build is mainly lacking in AoE (you have three healing powers here, and you may not need all of them), and I'd prob get the Stress adv on MStorm. The build seems to be pretty good otherwise (for a pet-based one, at least).

The 2nd build may not work well energy-wise since LArc and LStorm are kinda costly, LArc cannot proc the toggle/form and EU alone, and the way to proc them (Electrocute) isn't very efficient for that (w/ its long charge, no-low dmg, and cd). I prob wouldn't normally use IDF as a passive either, but I guess it's fine enough for a pet build, and if you want to try something new. Also, keep in mind that Power Source scales mostly w/ End.

Although technically all powersets can be shaped into a pet build (of some sort), some sets aren't going to be as good for it as others, and even then all pet builds run into issues of having fewer power slots to have leeway with (since pets are hogging many of them), more energy concerns, and pet AI issues that can make them ill-suited to more serious content. So although they can be fun to tinker around with a bit, I prob wouldn't devote much of one's full character roster to pet builds (they'd start to get kinda same-y anyways, since there's only so many pet powers).

You made a good point. I'll forgo the last two pet builds. I would like to request two gedgeteering builds using the updated powers, one DPS and one healer please.

For the ranged dps, I'll just refer to a build I made recently for it in another thread:

    https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/championsonline/#/discussion/1219245/the-fissile

As for a healer based on the set, here's one example for it (not including a link, since the PH Planner hasn't been updated yet):

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Presence (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Witch (Con: 10, Int: 8, Pre: 10, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Lasting Impression (Pre: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 9: Negotiator (Int: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 12: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 15: Diplomatic (Int: 5, Pre: 5)
Level 18: Shrug It Off (Con: 5, Pre: 5)
Level 21: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Particle Rifle
Level 1: Experimental Blaster (Rank 2, Rank 3, Death Ray)
Level 6: Medical Nanites (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 8: Compassion
Level 11: Medical Arrow (Rank 2, Illuminate)
    Level 14: Conjuring
Level 17: Experimental Burst Ray (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Medical Beam (Rank 2, Field Medic)
Level 23: Bionic Shielding (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 26: Radiation Shield (Rank 2)
Level 29: Resurrection Serum (Rank 2, Mass Resurrection)
    Level 32: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 35: Thundering Return
    Level 38:
    Adv. Points: -/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Presence: Repurpose (3/3)
    Presence: Selfless Ally (2/2)
    Presence: Moment of Glory (3/3)
    Presence: Force of Will (2/2)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (3/3)
    Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
    Sentinel: Moment of Need (3/3)
    Sentinel: Genesis (1/2)
    Overseer: Administer (3/3)
    Overseer: Ruthless (3/3)
    Overseer: Impact (2/2)
    Overseer: Honor (2/2)
    Mastery: Presence Mastery (1/1)

Uses Medical Arrow in general for Conjuring, Illum, and the healing rune. Exp Blaster taps can be the main single-target attack, while Exp Burst Ray is the main AoE attack (ofc you can also opt to take different main attacks in the set; I just took some cheap/easy ones here). Medical Beam and Bionic Shielding can be your main healing tools, and i also gave you some rezes. Gears mostly for Pres, w/ some Int and Con.

Nice! Thank you. I made both builds at the pts and they look fun to play with, esp the DPS one. It's fine taking a cheap attack for a support build, that is not the focus anyway. The support one feels like a complete healing machine.
A couple of things I noticed with the new powers. The new form seem cumbersome to use. And there is more sonic powers. Could you also make me a sonic DPS build?

The new forms are okay if you take enough short cds, but like w/ MSA you don't have as many short cd options w/in the set for a given role. You can ofc outsource to other Tech powersets to help there, though.

Fortunately, I also somewhat recently made a full Sonic dps build w/ the new powers. It's the 1st build I gave in this thread:

    https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/championsonline/#/discussion/1219059/the-mad-scientist-turned-hero

(you can also take the Redirect Power adv on Electro Magnet to help w/ energy when using Sonic Boom Gen for AoE, if needed.)
