Plasma Grenade!

So, a ranged "grenade" that does "particle damage", and applies "plasma burn over time" and "burn through" or possibly "disintegrate", would be nice to have for "people" who use "Pulp guns" or "Pulse Beam Raffles".

You could make it a power replacer for incendiary grenade and everything.. possibly.

I envision the blast looking like a crackle aura explosion.

I'll buy a bunch of keys if we get something like this.

    i think this would be an important step towards realizing parity with the new paradigm of melee damagers per second and this suggestion has my sincerest stamp of approval

    they could copy the base frag grenade power, swap to plasma damage then include a advantage to apply one of the two particle debuffs, frag grenade also has a advantage to apply bleeds so maybe for this version that advantage is swapped to plasma burn (by making it apply radiate effect)

    Ah yeah.. I guess what I described is closer to frag than incendiary. It's actually the particle version of frag with the cuts and scrape and open wound adv pretty much beat for beat.

    I guess something like incendiary would be interesting... maybe a plasma burn patch that replaces a normal fire patch. But, I feel like that would introduce another particle DoT for Laser sword etc... which seems uneccessary.

    THIS! Adding another fun element here seems like it could only benefit everyone. Awesome functionality aside, this would be a great opportunity to play with neat lighting elements. The lantern emote as a light source as a recent addition comes to mind. A momentary light effect when leaving your hand all the way to the target and exploding into a crackly mass of tortured atoms seems like a great way to introduce yourself to a former foe. xD

    Ice Grenade device has this effect, so it isn't asking for something with new code.
