Killed him many times, but perk doesn't complete now, making buying this device impossible:

    That perk is likely tied to the original version of the Lair/Mission. If you complete it, I suspect the perk will trigger.

    But it should trigger for both, so this is probably just an oversight with the perks.

    Nope I completed both versions after the patch, old version and new one, neither counted for that perk.

    Sounds like something got mucked up. I've been able to purchase the device with the perk previously. Hope it gets fixed.
