You could combine them in many different ways. Which attacks from either set would you like to use the most?

Was thinking of going with the knock backs

    Powers Idea

Well, scatter KBs aren't great for melee, since they can make it harder to follow up other attacks. That said, many of the powers that you've taken thus far took aren't KBs, but can still knock- so that's fine. Also, you didn't get an energy builder, so the build isn't technically possible atm, and the build could also use a slotted passive (prob Unstoppable). You could also make Skullcrusher your main single-target attack (won't be as good as Haymaker or Annihilate, but can still be decent). I'd prob also get a source of No Quarter for Skullcrusher (Arc is the easiest fit):

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.45:38

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Behemoth (Str: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 10, End: 8)
    Level 6: Paramilitary Training (Str: 3, Con: 3, Rec: 3, End: 3)
Level 9: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Relentless (Str: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 18: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)
    Level 21: Bodybuilder (Str: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Clobber
    Level 1: Unstoppable (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 6: Enrage
    Level 8: Pulverizer
Level 11: Arc of Ruin (No Quarter, Wildfire)
Level 14: Skullcrusher (Rank 2, Rank 3, Put Them Down)
    Level 17: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 20: Shockwave (Rank 2, Power Shift)
Level 23: Hurl (Hard Fall, Didn't See That Coming)
    Level 26: Thunderclap (Collateral Damage)
Level 29: Endorphin Rush (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 32: Retaliation (Rank 2)
    Level 35:
    Level 38:
    Adv. Points: 31/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Strength: Swole (2/3)
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (1/3)
    Strength: Overpower (2/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Not an early leveling build, but you can train in something like Cleave early on and retrain out of it later. The open pwoer slots can be w/e ya want.

Shockwave can be used as a wide AoE and to pull-in enemies for follow-ups w/ other attacks. Arc of Ruin can be charged for a basic melee pbAoE and tapped to apply/refresh No Quarter, Hurl can be used for Demolish, TClap can add an AoE stun, and Skullcrusher can be your main single-target attack. Gears mostly for Str, w/ some Rec and Con.
