Defender's National Training Program
For the next 2 weeks this event will be running.
  • To participate, you must make a NEW character (existing characters will not qualify) and get them to level 40 within the event dates.
  • It does not matter how you get to 40.
  • Upon completion, you will be rewarded 3 tokens to use in the event store as well as the "Motivated" title.
  • The mission granted does not need to be turned into a contact to receive rewards, it will be granted automatically. It also does not matter if the mission is dropped for any reason.
  • The mission completion can be slow, typically relogging helps, but it can take upwards of 10 minutes.
  • Levelling multiple characters grants additional tokens.

I am seriously impressed how quickly you sorted out the feedback to be able to hide the new color picker from the ui. :)

My most pressing question for the devs is why they continue spending time on things that so few people in the game will ever get to see or use. When you take a cool idea ("Let's have the ability to make flaming weapons!") and put it behind so many levels of RNG (first get an aura box from the lockbox-small percentage chance, then hope you get the 1/16th chance for the one you wanted), with so many undesirable/useless options mixed in (rainbow fire for my left hand... yay?) ... a small handful of people will ever get use your cool idea in the way they would've liked.

I legitimately wonder why. There has been several really cool items, costumes, auras, etc. added to the game in the last year or so that the average player will just never experience, and for no good reason. Any insight?

It's an incentive for players to spend RL money

I am really glad they separated the three types of auras in this lockbox to their own aura boxes. Will make costume box vouchers more useful in the future.

Thanks for adding a button to hide the hue pickers on devices.

    Bug
New Character Invalid for Defender's Training Program

This one is a doozy. I created a new character and skipped the tutorial, went directly to the hideout to equip heirloom gear and xp boost devices (kinetik crunch). It gave me the Max Plank mod missions even though I didn't have modifiable gear. I used some xp items, left the hideout, then the powerhouse to find out I don't have the training program mission.

Scratch that. NONE of my new characters are getting the training program mission.

Scratch that too. Turns out that the mission doesn't show up until at least level 8. Instructions unclear moment.

Thanks for adding "I'm a Pet!" to the Teleiosaurus Pheromones dinos... and giving them the ability to Fly.
