Yes, I am already thinking about a new toon for NEXT halloween.
(I might have an ALT issue?) ;P
Was thinking about trying something I'm sure lots of others have done, but is new to me.
Combining Fire and Infernal Chains, for a fire/poison character?
Since Infernal chains count as RANGE last I checked, (as opposed to Might chains which are melee) I'm thinking a ranged DPS, combining fire attacks and infernal poison chains. (Maybe a Devour essence for fun and self heal/attack?)
I'm thinking Fiery Form as the Off Pass since it increases all elemental dmg. So fire and poison both increased? Or is there a better choice?
(I mean, Night Warrior is always a great choice, but I do have several of those toons already. I am trying to branch out a little)
Before I go digging and try to pull together something that may or may not actually work, just checking to see if anyone has any builds similar to this already? So I can look at and make sure my Build-Fu is on track?
Thx in advance!

Not an early leveling build, ofc, and the last 1-2 powers can be w/e ya want.
Keeps the Wisp up for CFlames and Illum, while Vicious Cyclone is the main AoE attack, and Incinerate is the main ST attack. You can also throw in Fire Snake to boost Incinerate, and Vile Lariat can give you access to another self-heal. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some End and Con.

I'm going to go and play with it.
I made a few tweaks, and more on the way, but I ended up with THIS:

Additional Notes:
Need Fireball & Flashfire, replace vile lariat, & Fire snake OR Toxic Nanites?
MOSTLY just rearranged things a bit, Swapped CON for REC to help energy (And with the heals built into Guide-WillOWisp, he is very survivable) I also dropped the Conviction, (I'm just not a big fan) to make room for my toxic chain combo. (Not the 'most powerful or efficient' I know. But it was thematic.)
I moved Toxic Burst, Vile lariat and Fire snake to the end, because while they would all be good/great, I am hoping to make this guy my 'official' user of both Flaming Pumpkin & Cauldron power replacers, so I need to make room for Fireball & Flashfire (Both R2) to get the most bang out of them. So I moved them down til I can decide which ones to swap out.
Otherwise, surprisingly viable and survivable build, especially once you get Will O Wisp w/ Guide & GHost Fire on it.
Thank you again for your help. Always appreciated.

Oh yes Lash if far outclassed in both range and dmg by incinerate, but made a great early lvling tool, and does have a AoE on hit 3. And does great at spreading toxic dots quickly. As I said, mostly keeping it for the theme. Now that the toon is mid-levels I could live without it. If I had to.
I DO like Vicious Cyclone chain AoE much more than I thought I would tbh. Thx for that! (And again, thematic!)
I'm pretty sure (IF I stay with my Pumpkin/Cauldron pwr-replacer item build idea), that I will replace Vile lariat. I dont need a single target chain pull when I have AoE Vicious Cyclone w/knock in. (although, as you pointed out, another healing buff is always a welcome thing) :P
Yeah, Fire Snake is just such a good debuffer that is most likely the one I'll keep. But extra dmg added to ANY attack with Toxic nanites is good too! (Decisions, decisions)
Sometimes I find a build that is just fun to play, no matter how UN optimized. And sometimes you get lucky and manage a build that works greater than the sum of its parts.
(I refer to your previous 'Ray Gun Build', which re-tweaked into an almost unstoppable juggernaut of a laser sword/lightning 'secret apprentice' build!) ;P
I think between the Guide healing, and the multiple fire and toxic debuffs/dots, this build hits harder and is longer lasting than it looks.
Just ran the desert adventure where you HAVE to lose a fight in order to get captured, and be taken into the secret base. I started the fight with Will O Wisp to aggro and turned on the EB. Then just sat back and waited. I had to turn the EB off, because I was killing the mobs faster than they could kill the toon.
Just wanted to say thx for the ideas, always appreciate your help and input.
Happy Hero-ing!
