Weirdness Build Request: Super Sentai

So, I have a weird one. And honestly, I'm just nuts enough to request it.

With the Super Sentai box, you had a Fighting Claw, Heavy Weapon, Martial Arts Blade, and a Gun skin.

I would like to see if anyone has a build idea to use all of the above.

Yes, it's weird. No, I don't know if it is possible.

I'm more than a little stumped on this one as I've been trying for over an hour to see if it is possible and if so can it be done.

Didn't see this thread earlier, but there's many diff ways to combine all those weapons. W/o knowing what specific powers you want, I'll just take a general stab at it:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.45:38

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Chiller (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10)
    Level 6: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 9: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
Level 12: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 15: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
    Level 18: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Gunslinger
Level 1: Blade Tempest (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 6: Form of the Tempest
    Level 8: Unstoppable (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Relentless
Level 14: Bullet Hail (Rank 2, Aggression)
    Level 17: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 20: Dragon's Claws (Rank 2, Dragon Rush)
Level 23: Decimate (Nailed to the Ground)
    Level 26: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 29: Holdout Shot (Stim Pack)
    Level 32: Guard (Rank 2)
    Level 35: Brute Strike
    Level 38:
    Adv. Points: 29/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (2/3)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

The last 1-2 powers can be w/e ya want.

Bullet Hail can be used as a basic ranged AoE, while Blade Tempest can be your main melee AoE. For single-targets, you can just use Blade Tempest to put up and refresh Shredded, while charged FC is your main attack. I added some HW powers and Holdout Shot's heal adv for some extra utility, and to help round out the concept. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Rec (and some cost discount on gear).

Nice builds! Thanks all around. I love the one flowcyto put up. (Seriously, I did not consider using Dragon's Claws like that. Just the idea of someone going from dual blading to claw stabbing is novel on that alone.)

@starflairex Eh, pretty good single sets. My aim was to make use of all the weapon skins. I hope this thread will be looked at later and get some input.

Discord also helped, and ended up getting a pair from Vexx on there. Credit to him on these two. Unlike the above, they are Tank based so modification for DPS may be needed.

    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Elusive (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Constitution Mastery (1/1)

    Devices

This one's a dual blade focused mixed with HW and some Munitions. I particularly love this in that you can also sub in Whirling Dragon Strike if you want. Otherwise, your entire aim is spamming for crit city for Focus and unleashing the Claws with Bladed Fury. If you really want to make it look like you're smacking someone down, unleash Arc of Ruin and Skullcrusher a few times. I seriously considered equipping the biggest hammer I could with this.

This one is Bleed/Wound based. I didn't like it overall, but I also didn't understand how Scything Blade and Reaper's Embrace worked at the time. Now that I do, the idea is mostly using Viper's Fang to set Shredded followed by Scything Blade and Reaper's Embrace as needed. Arc of Ruin sets up for Skewer to also do Bleeds if you can handle immense chainsaw sword stabbing someone.

Thanks again to flowcyto, starflairex, and Vexx for tossing these up. See you crazies in game!

Happy to help a bit. And yea, there's many different options to explore here, even if jamming everything into one build can be tough. If you want to swap Vexx's nice tank builds to dps ones, and w/o losing most of their current powers, then I'd prob change:
    - the selected role (to Melee dps)
    - the SS setup (DEX/Rec/Con with a Dex-focus is prob the most basic one here, like in my first build, though others could work)
    - the slotted passive (from R3 Defiance to R3 WotW, Unstoppable, NW, or Earth Form)
    - Protector spec to Vindicator spec or to Brawler spec (and possibly Warden's Elusive to Upper Hand)
    - the spec Mastery (prob to Dex Mastery here)
    - the advs, to not having any Challenge-related ones (can use free adv points on normal ranks).

Any other changes are also up to you, but the above can be a basic guide.

Hello again. So sorry, I must not have read your initial post carefully enough before dumping all those focused builds. I see you have plenty of great examples already and wanted to take another stab at it myself.
This one focuses more on rupturing shredded via tigers bite for a main single target, pistols are largely defensive utility, and some HW for additional melee AOE.

Hey, I kind of took this build and tried to make it a DB/DW toon. I feel like I'm missing a lot of potential damage though. Can anyone look over this and tell me if I need to change anything?

One reason you'll be doing less damage is because you have Rush on DC istead of R3. That's your main heavy hitting single target attack. Maybe try Steadfast instead of Relentless. It scales with Dex and then Rec, so might give you more fuel and then you can drop Rush. If energy is still an issue, drop either Holdout Shot or Inexorable Tides and take Dragon Kick with just Rush. Always nice to have a stun. If it were me, I'd drop HS, but maybe you want to keep it for theme?

Checked the forums today and realized I've started something apparently. My life is now complete. :s

@rhymere#3035 Nice! Megaman style is one take I didn't consider. Do any of the parts work with the laser blades?

@hedgehog#9387 I think I've seen you around in game on my Daikaiger character I'm using to farm for SCR and Q lately. Definitely good to have a DB/HW bit. I believe I posted one previously that might be a good start with modifications if you want one there.

I don't use the HW part of the build, just DB/Munitions with Dragon Claws as my primary DPS. It's a really fun build, VERY good for Harmon Labs Heist.
