Here's a DPS Telekinetic build that includes Telekinesis for some magnetism power. I'd stat for Ego since Telekinesis uses Ego to determine how much you can lift and gear for additional crit chance.

The build could also work (if you don't mind all the scatter KBs), though I prob wouldn't use Elec Form, since it's not boosting Crushing dmg from the Force powers, and will get disabled when using FC (same thing w/ Ego Surge also being an energy form). I'd also use Pulverizer as the EU, since you're using enough knocking powers, and Pulv scales w/ Rec anyways (MSA scales w/ Int instead). I'd also prob max Insight if using FC, and you could also get Power Conversion to help w/ energy when solo.
Energy Wave could also be a nice power for the concept (esp w/ its pull-in adv).

Yeah, initially I’d planned for more energy & electricity based-powers w/ the Gravity Ripple + Detonation combo thrown in there (assuming the OP’s even got Ripple unlocked!), but it’s all replaceable. Any hard-hitting power instead of Cascade… Energy Wave (also looks fantastic for a Magneto type character) replacing TK Eruption… and so on.:)
* More powers that look the part:
- Electricity: Lightning Arc and Ball Lightning (w/ Triplicity adv).
- Force: Field Surge, Protection Field and Redirected Force. Force Geyser and Snap. Containment Field…
- P.A: Binding Shot (and Sorcery’s Binding of Aratron), kinda look like energy / metallic strands or wiring around the target. Hand Cannon is okay too, I guess.
Depends on what you mean magnetic. Like Earth may be good if you want that natural feel or whatever others recommend. We're not there on good natural energy builds yet.
